GUIDED BY FAITH, DRIVEN BY PERSEVERANCE, INSPIRED BY HOPE: The Inspiring Journey of Our Scholar, Dante Ramos Camporedondo Jr. in earning a degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Every success story begins with a dream, is strengthened by perseverance, and is fulfilled through God's unfailing grace. Today, we proudly celebrate the inspiring journey of our scholar, Dante Ramos Camporedondo Jr., whose steadfast faith, unwavering determination, and resilient spirit have led him to earn his degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
His path was not without challenges, but through every trial, he remained anchored in hope and trusted in God's divine providence. His story stands as a testament that with faith, hard work, and the support of those who believe in him, no dream is beyond reach.
Below is Dante's story, written in his own words ( copied from his own facebook post) โa heartfelt reflection on his journey, the obstacles he overcame, and the blessings that brought him to this remarkable milestone.
Mama Yolanda Ramos , your youngest child has finally graduated. I am the child you once prayed to the Lord for, hoping that one day I would become a priest. Today, I hope you are smiling from heaven because, although this was not the path I originally dreamed of, I embraced it wholeheartedly and completed it with faith, perseverance, and trust in God's plan. You always knew what I truly wanted, Mama.
But through every season of my life, I learned that God has a greater purpose for me. Sometimes we do not understand His plans at first, but in His perfect time, He reveals why every trial was necessary. The greatest challenges of my life began when I left the seminary. Entering college was far from easy. One hardship followed another, and there were countless moments when I felt lost and unsure of how I would move forward.
One of the most difficult chapters of our lives came when we faced a severe financial crisis. It became even more challenging when you were diagnosed with kidney disease and had to undergo regular dialysis. My studies, our family's finances, our daily needs, and almost every aspect of our lives were affected. It was not only a physical battle but also an emotional and mental one that we endured together. Yet despite everything, we never stopped trusting God.
We continued to pray, give thanks, and hold on to the hope that every trial carried a purpose. Mama, I will always be grateful for every sacrifice, every prayer, and every act of unconditional love you gave me. When the day came that you left this world, it felt as though I had lost my sense of direction. I did not know where to go or who to turn to. But even in my deepest sorrow, I chose to keep fighting.
To continue pursuing my dream of finishing my education, I accepted every honest opportunity that came my way.
I worked as a carwash boy, house boy, messenger for attorneys at City Hall, online reseller, call center agent in a BPO company, bike mechanic, sales promoter, GEL Service Crew at McDonald's, and driver. This is what I've been doing after my six-year college journey. No job was ever too small or beneath me because every opportunity allowed me to earn an honest living, support my daily needs, and continue my education.
More importantly, each experience taught me humility, resilience, responsibility, perseverance, and the dignity of hard work. There came a point when I seriously considered stopping my studies after my third year at PHINMA Saint Jude College Manila because the responsibilities I carried had become overwhelming. Aside from being a student, I also served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Illustrados School Publication, President of the Publication, and Head of Public Relations and Media of the Central Student Government.
At the same time, I struggled to balance my academics, personal responsibilities, and caring for you during your hospitalization mama. Then came the greatest heartbreak of all.....you were gone.
There were days when I felt completely lost. I questioned myself, my future, and whether I still had the strength to continue. There were moments when I almost gave up on my dream of earning a college degree. But those were also the moments when I chose to hold on to God even more. I prayed harder, returned to serving Him, and sought guidance from the people who had once believed in me.
When I had almost given up, God made a way.
He used people as His instruments to lift me up, encourage me, and help me continue the journey I thought I could no longer finish. Today, I stand here filled with gratitude because God opened the hearts of people who extended their kindness, generosity, and unwavering support until I reached this milestone.

Today, I can proudly say! ๐๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐จ๐ค๐ฃ ๐ฌ๐๐ค ๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐จ ๐ฃ๐ค ๐๐ค๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ก๐ก๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ก๐๐๐ง! This achievement was built on faith, countless prayers, perseverance, sacrifice, and the kindness of people whom God placed in my life. Every challenge became a lesson. Every setback became an opportunity to grow. Every tear became a reminder that God never abandons those who place their trust in Him.
My journey was never easy, but it became living proof that where there is God, there is always hope. Today, I proudly stand as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology graduate a living testimony that when life is guided by faith, driven by perseverance, and inspired by hope, no dream is beyond God's perfect plan. Mama, you don't have to worry about me anymore. I'm okay now, and I can move forward on my own.
