Not every success story begins with comfort.

Some begin with sacrifice, perseverance, and unwavering faith.

This is the story of Lucy Lacson, an Antipolo Seminary Foundation Scholar from Tiwi, Albay who faced life's many struggles but never stopped believing. Through every challenge, one realization remained in her heart:

"Iba Ka, Lord."

Those three words became her testimony—that even in the hardest moments, God was quietly making a way.

At the Antipolo Seminary Foundation, we believe that no dream should end because of poverty. By opening doors to education, we empower young people to rise, fulfill their dreams, and become a blessing to others.

Because behind every scholar is a story of hope. Behind every dream fulfilled is a God who never stopped providing.

This is Lucy's story. A story of faith, hope, and the power of believing.

𝗭𝗲𝗣𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟬 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗱-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

On June 16–17, 2026, Zero Poverty PH 2030 (ZeP2030) gathered 17 Lead Convenors and 17 Local Convenors for its Mid-Year Meeting and Peer Learning Session at the Horacio Cebrero Hall, Central House Admin Bldg, La Salle Green Hills.

The sessions served as a collaborative platform for reviewing progress, aligning priorities, and exchanging field-based insights to strengthen implementation across the coalition.

As Co-Secretariat alongside PBSP, the Association of Foundations (AF) takes pride in seeing its member organizations take on the leadership challenge of advancing localized efforts.

Of the 17 Local Convenors present, 11 were AF members, including 6 that recently took on the role and participated in the activity for the first time:

Active participation and open sharing of milestones and lessons throughout the sessions underscored the coalition’s strength, with the energy in the room reflecting how ZeP2030’s sustained collective efforts continue to bring it steadily closer to its goal of improving incomes and access to essential social services for 100,000 Filipino families by 2030.

𝐙𝐞𝐏𝟐𝟎𝟑𝟎 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐏𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬

Zero Poverty PH 2030 (ZeP2030) Lead Convenors and Local Convenors met on June 16, 2026, to discuss coalition updates and share progress on initiatives across local convergences.

Key highlights included the presentation of the new Strategic Communications Plan, updates on family profiling, the rollout of enhanced ZeP2030 profiling and monitoring and evaluation tools, the reactivation of Thematic Clusters, and updates on the action plans of Local Convergences.

To date, 17 Local Convergences have been established, and efforts are underway to establish Local Convergences in four new provinces.

A Peer Learning Session among new and existing Local Convenors was also held on June 17, 2026, providing an opportunity to strengthen their capacities, exchange experiences and good practices, and foster innovation and collaboration across convergence sites.

PBSP and the Association of Foundations (AF) serve as the Co-Secretariats of ZeP2030. The June 16–17 activities were hosted by De La Salle Brothers, Inc. (DLSBI), one of the coalition's Lead Convenors.

Today, ASF joins the Thanksgiving Ceremony of the 43 LEAP graduates of Batch 2026 and we also proudly celebrates our Final Six Scholars in Legazpi.

Five scholars were from Tiwi and one in Camarines sur.

The last batch of ASF Scholars in Legazpi, but a legacy that will inspire many more.
