Integrity Begins with Every Choice We Make

Every day presents us with opportunities to choose between what is easy and what is right. This month's Values Talk, our Guidance Designate Mrs. Janice D. Gaoiran, reminded us that integrity is not measured by grand actions but by the consistent choices we make, even when no one is watching.

Integrity is shown through honesty, accountability, respect for others, and staying true to our values. It is about taking responsibility for our actions, being fair, and earning the trust of those around us through our character.

As members of our school community, may we strive to let integrity guide our decisions in the classroom, at home, and wherever life takes us. When we choose integrity, we build not only a good reputation but also a strong foundation for a meaningful and successful future.

One of the valuable lessons shared by our Values Education Coordinator is that self-discipline is the key to developing good character and achieving success.

Self-discipline means choosing to do what is right even when it is not easy. It is shown through our daily habits—being responsible, following school policies, managing our time wisely, and making decisions that reflect respect for ourselves and others.

Great achievements begin with small acts of discipline. By practicing self-discipline every day, we become more responsible, trustworthy, and prepared for the challenges of life.
