After the clean-up drive, some Lions and Leos of Panglao Island Lions Club made the most of the day with a Fun Dive in a dive site in Momo, courtesy of our fellow Lions at Mario Dive Resort.🤿🐠🐟🪸🌊

Answering the call to serve, We, from Panglao Island Lions Club and Omega Leo Club of Panglao Island, joined the City-Wide Clean-Up Drive at Momo Beach, Panglao, with 22 Lions and 4 Leos present.
Along with the coastal clean-up, an underwater clean-up drive was also conducted to help protect our marine life and keep our waters clean.

The underwater clean-up & buffet breakfast, were generously sponsored by our fellow Lions, Sir Mario and Ma’am Ann Jimera of Mario Dive Resort.

A simple act with a big impact! Thank you to everyone who participated and supported.

The club was honored to welcome the District Officers, led by District Governor Francisco “Kiki” Romualdez, 50PMJF, SCA, for a successful club visitation held on March 21, 2026 at Diamond Restaurant - Panglao. Key matters and questions were thoughtfully addressed during the meeting.

The Governor also led the pinning of pins for PILC members who received recognition from LCI.
The election of the new set of officers for Lion Year 2026–2027 was likewise conducted.

We are proud and delighted to share that, among the many awards presented during the Fellowship Night, our club earned the most recognitions, namely:
• 5-Star Club Excellence Award
• Global Humanitarian Award
• Club International Award for achieving a membership growth of 25–29 members last Lion Year.

In addition, our club also received a Certificate from Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF), attesting that we are now a Melvin Jones Fellow (MJF) donor club.

Certainly, these achievements would not have been possible without the steadfast support, dedication, and cooperation of all our members.

Sharing here some of the captured moments during the 3rd District Convention. We are happy and proud to be part of another record-breaking, most attended convention held here in Bohol last March 7, 2026.

The club extended assistance to a household affected by a recent fire incident in Purok 2, Brgy. Poblacion, Panglao, Bohol.

This humanitarian project was initiated by Lion Analyn H. Casane, MJF, who channeled the request to the club and invited us to be part of this meaningful cause. In response, her and the club donated essential materials to help in the reconstruction of the affected home.

The club remains committed to service by responding to the needs of our community.

In celebration of the Fiesta of Sitio Sapa, Brgy. Bolod, the Panglao Island Lions Club (PILC) will be hosting a Live Band Disco Party (with Jam Avenue Band) at the Sapa, Bolod Basketball Court on February 5, 2026, at 8:00 PM.

This event also serves as a fundraising activity, with tables available for ₱1,500.00 per table, inclusive of one case of beer and chairs. Extra drinks and soda will also be available for purchase.

Let’s come together for a fun-filled night of music,and celebration as we mark the fiesta while supporting our service initiatives.

The Club held its Monthly Meeting on January 25, 2026 at Route 9 Hostel. The main agenda was the preparation for the upcoming 3rd District Convention, particularly the Fellowship Night, which the PILC is assigned to facilitate. Members shared ideas and plans to ensure a smooth and successful program.

The meeting ended with a positive and cooperative spirit. Thank you to the Micutuan family for hosting the dinner. Roar!🦁

We are grateful to have been part of today’s Medical Mission, serving around 250 beneficiaries through Medical, Dental, Optical, Derma, and Breast Cancer Awareness services, led by Ang Bisaya of Michigan at Libaong Covered Court.
The club also provided food packs, snacks, and bottled water to our dedicated medical volunteers.

The mission runs until tomorrow, January 25, 2026.

The 2nd District Convention at Vivace Events Center, Ocean Park, Cebu City was truly a memorable gathering. With 13 registered PILC delegates, we had the wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow Lions of District 301-B2 while enjoying laughter, meaningful conversations, and genuine camaraderie. It was a beautiful reminder of the strength of fellowship and the joy of coming together as one Lion family.

See you all again here in Bohol for our 3rd District Convention! Roaaaar!🦁
