🇵🇭 "Our Seas. Our Rights. Our Future." 🌊

BARANGAY ADVOCACY TEAM FOR WEST PHILIPPINE SEA!

A significant step towards strengthening patriotism and community awareness was taken as the Barangay Advocacy Team para sa West Philippine Sea was officially launched in the Municipality of San Fabian, Pangasinan.
Organized through the initiative of the The Charlie (Crusaders) Company, 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion, 7th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, the event was held at the San Fabian Public Auditorium. The activity gathered barangay representatives, local officials, and community leaders to discuss ways of expanding public awareness on the importance of protecting the West Philippine Sea and preserving the Philippines' sovereign maritime rights.
The forum emphasized that safeguarding our seas is not solely the responsibility of our uniformed personnel and government agencies—it is a shared responsibility of every Filipino. By promoting education, civic engagement, and national pride, communities become active partners in protecting our country's territorial integrity and preserving our marine resources for future generations.

Representing Barangay Binday in this meaningful gathering were Hon. John Michael Biado, GYGC President and SK Kagawad; Hon. Mark Vincent Salinas, SK Kagawad; Hon. Salvador Juguilon, Barangay Kagawad; Hon. Neva Prado, Barangay Secretary; together with the members of the Barangay Binday Council. Their participation reflects the barangay's commitment to promoting informed citizenship, community resilience, and love for our nation.

This gathering reminded us that patriotism is not measured only in words, but through our willingness to learn, participate, and stand together in protecting what rightfully belongs to the Filipino people. As citizens, we all have a role in preserving our nation's heritage, defending our rights, and ensuring that the next generation inherits a country whose seas remain protected and whose sovereignty remains respected.

Together, let us continue to foster awareness, strengthen unity, and inspire every Filipino to become a responsible steward of our nation's land and seas.

The Advisers, officers and members of the Garduño Young Generation Club (GYGC) proudly participated in the Annual YCOP Leadership Webinar 2026, taking another meaningful step toward becoming more capable, empowered, and service-driven youth leaders.

The webinar served as a reminder that leadership goes beyond holding a position—it is about continuously learning, inspiring others, and taking action to create a positive impact in our communities. Through every discussion and shared experience, we gained valuable insights that will strengthen our commitment to serving with integrity, purpose, and compassion.

COMMUNITY-BASED DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT | TOT

The Garduño Young Generation Club (GYGC) successfully participated in the 4-Day Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (CBDRRM) Training for Students, Youth Groups, and LYDC held from May 31 - June 3, 2026, at Hotel Consuelo, Lingayen, Pangasinan. The training was conducted by the Regional Office of the Civil Defense to strengthen the knowledge and skills of young leaders in disaster preparedness, emergency response, climate resilience, and community safety.

Representing the organization were GYGC President Mr. John Jm Biado and Secretary General Ms. Bea Marata , who actively participated in the various lectures, workshops, simulations, and group activities throughout the four-day training. Their participation reflects the organization's dedication to continuous learning and capacity-building for effective community service.

The event also provided an opportunity to connect with fellow youth leaders, exchange ideas, and learn from different experiences and best practices in disaster risk reduction and management.

GYGC remains committed to empowering young leaders and promoting active participation in programs that help create safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.

Together, we continue to prepare, respond, and lead for a better and more resilient future.

🌈 Happy Pride Month!

Ang Pride Month ay hindi lamang isang selebrasyon ng kulay at pagkakaiba-iba. Isa rin itong panahon ng pag-alala sa kasaysayan, pakikibaka, at mga tagumpay ng LGBTQIA+ community sa pagsusulong ng pagkakapantay-pantay, karapatan, at respeto para sa lahat.
Ngayong buwan, hinihikayat tayong matuto, makinig, at mas maunawaan ang iba't ibang karanasan ng bawat tao. It reminds us that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect—regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, or background.
Sa isang lipunang tunay na inklusibo, walang dapat maiwan at walang dapat matakot na ipakita kung sino sila. Through understanding and acceptance, we build stronger communities where everyone can thrive and be proud of who they are.
