Puno ng Pag-asa of GK ESSEC Buntod🎄⭐️
The Puno ng Pag-asa of GK ESSEC Buntod is a Christmas tree entirely crafted from locally sourced coconut parts, symbolizing life, resilience, and abundance within our community. The tree’s structure is formed using the base of coconut leaves, carefully woven to create a sturdy and cone-shaped foundation. Its ornaments and details are made from coconut husks, dried coconut leaves, and natural fibers, all assembled through bayanihan by community members.
The coconut, often called the “tree of life,” reflects our hope that even simple and ordinary resources can be transformed into something meaningful when the community works together. Standing tall in the heart of our village, this tree represents faith, unity, and shared sacrifice, reminding us that hope grows when no one is left behind.
GK 5 Tenets Explanation 🧡
The Puno ng Pag-asa of GK ESSEC Buntod was created with faith, love, and shared purpose. Para sa Diyos at Para sa Bayan is reflected in how this tree became our offering of gratitude and prayer.
Through Una sa Serbisyo, Huli sa Benepisyo, we worked not for recognition, but to spread joy and inspiration this Christmas. Bayanihan came alive as families, youth, nanays, and tatays gathered materials and built the tree together. Many of the coconuts and ornaments were collected from debris washed ashore by high tides and the recent typhoon, showing our resourcefulness in turning challenges into something beautiful.
Padugo is seen in the time, effort, and small sacrifices everyone gave. Finally, Walang Iwanan ensured that everyone had a part.
