The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines โ Panaon Campus officially opened its much-awaited Intramurals 2025 with the theme โCollege Festivalโ at the Jimenez Cultural and Farmerโs Training Center on November 11, 2025. The event marked the beginning of a week-long celebration of sportsmanship, artistry, and campus pride โ and the Information Technology Department made sure to leave a strong impression from the very start.
Dominating the stage with exceptional performances, the IT Department showcased both skill and creativity across multiple categories. The team earned 1st Place in the Contemporary Dance Competition and 1st Place in the Vocal Solo Competition, proving their excellence in both performing arts and music.
They also secured 2nd Place finishes in the Cheerdance and Modern Hip-Hop Competitions, captivating the audience with energy, precision, and unity. Meanwhile, in the Dancesport events, IT competitors consistently placed on the podium, winning 3rd Place in Standard, Latin, and Third World categories, showing versatility and teamwork. Rounding off their impressive opening day, the department also claimed 3rd Place in both the Vocal Duet and Song & Dance Impersonation Competitions.
The strong showing of the Information Technology Department set the tone for an exciting week ahead, reflecting not only their competitive spirit but also their passion and camaraderie. As the College Festival continues, IT stands as one of the departments to watch โ determined, talented, and ready to rise for the championship.
