HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CATHOLIC CHURCH!

Pentecost Sunday marks the birth of the Church, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles gathered in prayer, as described in the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 2:1–4). Strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they were transformed from fearful disciples into bold witnesses of the Gospel, sent forth to proclaim Christ to all nations.

This sacred event reveals the Church as both divine gift and living mission—united in faith, enlivened by grace, and continually guided by the Spirit in truth and charity. Pentecost thus remains not only a historical moment, but a present reality in the life of the Church.

As we prepare for Pentecost Sunday, we are reminded that the Church was born through the power of the Holy Spirit — gathering people of every nation, language, and heart into one faith.

United in Christ, strengthened by the Spirit, and guided by the mission of the Apostles, may we continue to live as one Church that proclaims God’s truth, love, and mercy to the world.

Hinaut nga pinaagi sa atong pagtuon ug pagpamalandong, mahimong inspirasyon si Mama Mary sa atong mga kabataan nga mahimong buotan, matinahuron, ug matinud-anon sa pagtuo ✨

Karong adlawa, nagkahiusa ang atong mga kabataan sa pag-ampo sa Santo Rosaryo diri sa STN Small Panabo Chapel. Makapahinumdom gyud nga bisan gagmay pa sila, dako na kaayo silag gugma ug pagtuo kang Mama Mary 🌷

Malipayong gisugdan nato ang atong Flores de Mayo pinaagi sa KSP (Kasaulogan sa Pulong) nga gipangunahan sa atong kaabag, Angkol Kokoy 🙏

Dakong pasalamat sa atong mga pinalanggang Nanay nga niuban sa mga kabataan:

Head's up kids! Since May is just around the corner — we warmly welcome you to join the 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝑫𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒐 𝑳𝒂𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈💐⛪ in your respective GKK Chapel.

This isn't just a tradition; it’s a beautiful way for us to come together as a GKK family to honor Mama Mary and help our little ones grow closer to Jesus through stories, songs, and, of course, offering flowers. As well as building our Catholic Formation by praying the Holy Rosary. 🌼🌸🌷✨
