In view of the recent 7.8 magnitude earthquake and expected aftershocks, and in strict compliance with Panabo City Executive Order No. 51-2026, the 4th PAGPAKANUG 2026 is temporarily suspended until further notice.

𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | The Coalition of Future Public Administrators (CoFPA) officially concluded its engagement at the Convergence of Student Leaders (ConSOLe) 2026, held at Davao del Norte State College (DNSC). As the premier annual summit for campus leaders organized by the DNSC Council of Student Organizations (CSO), the event served as a critical platform for organizational alignment and the synchronization of leadership directions for the upcoming academic year.

Alongside the organizational sessions, CoFPA representatives also participated in the summit's various activities. Nyryll Pasaol, the Ambassadress for Good Governance, placed in the Top 5 and finished as 1st Runner-Up in the Green Steward Competition. Additionally, CoFPA President Jenefer Bali was named Star of the Night during the Social Night.

Davao del Norte State College–Council of Student Organizations (DNSC-CSO) capacitated student leaders on sustainability and innovation for a greener future during its first-ever Convergence of Student Organization Leaders (ConSOLe) 2026 on May 14 at the DNSC Gymnasium.

During the Green Initiative Project Pitching Competition, Coalition of Future Public Administrators (CoFPA) showcased an innovative and environment-friendly solution through Project AGOS: Advancing Green Operations and Sustainability.

Presented by Angel T. Gasing and Kelvin O. Rufin, Project AGOS highlighted an educational rainwater harvesting system designed to promote sustainable campus water management and environmental awareness among students.

“We realized that instead of letting thousands of liters of rainwater go to waste while the school pays high utility bills, we could step up as student leaders. Project AGOS is our way of turning a dormant campus asset into a solution for environmental stewardship,” Gasing said.

She also emphasized the long-term value of the initiative, noting that sustainability must be embedded in campus systems rather than treated as a one-time effort.

Ms. Rizalyn Duran, Student Organization Coordinator, emphasized that “Together, we are not just organizations; we are a community capable of creating positive change and leaving a lasting impact.”

With the theme, “Green Horizon: Empowering Leaders for a Sustainable Future”, the event celebrates excellence, a call for action, and a challenge for every student leader to rise and lead.

𝐂𝐨𝐅𝐏𝐀 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 ‘𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐆𝐎𝐒’ 𝐖𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Coalition of Future Public Administrators (CoFPA) has set a high bar for environmental governance, securing a double-award victory at the recently concluded Convergence of Student Leaders (ConSOLe) 2026. Their flagship initiative, Project AGOS: Advancing Green Operations and Sustainability, was hailed as the Champion for the Green Initiative Project Pitching and recipient of the Best Video Presentation award.

Project AGOS is a strategic intervention designed to solve campus water inefficiencies. Through retrofitting the institution's gymnasium as the catchment area, the project transforms a dormant water tank into a high-capacity rainwater harvesting system. Technical projections show the system will capture over 100,201 liters annually, providing a daily average of 3,340 liters of free, non-potable water for sanitation and campus maintenance.

This initiative directly aligns with Republic Act No. 9729 (Climate Change Act) and DILG MC No. 076-17, showcasing how future administrators can integrate national mandates into local institutional planning.

This achievement was made possible through the collective efforts of the CoFPA team. The project was led by proponents Angel T. Gasing and Kelvin O. Rufin, while its award-winning visual narrative was brought to life by Videographer Jazcyl Jane Estrada and Video Editor Ronald Sumiog Jr.

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to advocating for green policies and initiatives that start within our halls and extend to the community.
