Relampagos for the newly elected officers on December 6, 2025 - 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at New City Hall Lobby. This significant event will also serve as a platform for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), Local Youth Development Council and Youth Organizations to present their accomplishments, highlighting their contributions and initiatives throughout the year.

This gathering aims to strengthen youth participation, foster unity among accredited organizations, and formally recognize the new set of leaders who will serve and represent their respective groups. Your support and active involvement in this important event are highly appreciated as we continue to work together for the development and empowerment of the youth in Panabo City.

‘DOUBLET EARTHQUAKE’

Phivolcs reports that the two strong earthquakes (magnitude 7.4 and 6.8) that struck Davao Oriental on October 10, 2025, may be a "doublet earthquake"—a rare event involving two separate but closely timed and located quakes of similar strength.

This phenomenon is typically caused by stress along faults or trenches, like the Philippine Trench. Similar events include the 2023 Hinatuan and 1992 Manay earthquakes.
