We would like to inform everyone that the Hiyas ng Canipaan 2026 has been officially postponed. SEE YOU ON JANUARY 18, 2026 (same time, same venue)...

This decision was made after careful consideration of having bad weather condition for the safety of everybody, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our organizer/s, candidates, spectators, and the entire community. Lawig Festival & Higante Contest 2025 is now officially concluded! Our sincere thanks to all creators and supporters who brought our giant to life:

To the TRIBU MAKIANGAYON, composed of Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay BAGUINBIN, CANIPAAN, CENTRAL II, CENTRAL III, TINUBDAN and High School SSLG of TINABILAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (TiNHS). Daghan ug daghan kaayong salamat sa tanang efforts, time, and dedication nga atong gigahin to create our own creative Higante with a theme, "Bringing Jubilee Hope Behind Bars: Spes non Confundit". Thanks also for the wonderful memories and journey that we sailed on this year's Higantes Competition.
