Creating Space to Reflect, Recharge, and Reconnect. ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŒŠ

On August 8, 2026, we were honored to be invited for the PYAP Feedbacking and Stress Debriefing held at Daguitan Surf Camp, Brgy. Sabang, Dulag, Leyte.

The activity brought together the PYAP Officers and organizers of the Regional PYAP Convention 2026 for a meaningful time of reflection, feedbacking, and stress debriefing after successfully carrying out a major regional event.

Beyond recognizing the challenges and experiences behind the convention, the session provided a safe space to process experiences, appreciate one anotherโ€™s efforts, share learnings, and recharge for the work ahead. ๐ŸŒฑ

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful initiative and to share in a conversation that reminds us that behind every successful program are people who also need time to pause, breathe, and be heard.

On August 4, 2026, the Provincial Population Office conducted an Adolescent Responsible Sexuality Education (ARSE) session at the Galicano N. Ruiz Center, Isabel, Leyte, attended by 80 Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers from different high schools in Isabel (28 males and 52 females).

By equipping youth leaders with accurate information and promoting responsible decision-making, the session strengthened their capacity to become advocates of healthy relationships, informed choices, and positive peer influence within their schools and communities.

On the afternoon of July 30, 2026, the Provincial Population Office conducted an Adolescent Reproductive and Sexuality Education (ARSE) session for 61 Grade 12 students (35 males and 26 females) at Calunangan National High School, Merida, Leyte.

Through meaningful discussions and accurate information, the session equipped students with the knowledge and values needed to make informed decisions, develop healthy relationships, and become responsible members of their communities.

Twnety-five (25) young people from La Paz, Leyte successfully completed the SADE (Sons and Daughters Encounter) conducted on July 24โ€“26, 2026, at the La Paz Evacuation Center.

Over the course of three days, the participants engaged in various formation sessions, team-building activities, and moments of reflection that encouraged personal growth, strengthened camaraderie, and inspired them to become responsible, values-driven leaders in their respective communities.

The Provincial Government of Leyte, through Governor Carlos Jericho Petilla, extends its warmest congratulations to the Local Government Unit of Pastrana, under the leadership of Mayor Maritess Cayaco-Marcos, and the Local Youth Development Office headed by Mr. Raynar Galvez for successfully spearheading the Youth Health Summit held on July 24, 2026 at the Pastrana Gymnasium.

The summit gathered Supreme Student Government (SSG) leaders from various schools, together with representatives from different youth organizations, for a day of learning, awareness, and empowerment on important health and life issues affecting todayโ€™s youth.
