The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Mamansual Abdul National High School conducted a voluntary donation drive to extend financial assistance to two former students who were recently involved in separate accidents. Upon learning about their situation, the SSLG officers immediately coordinated with the school administration and encouraged students, teachers, and school personnel to participate in the fundraising initiative. The activity aimed to provide immediate support and show that the school community stands with them during this difficult time.

Through the generosity of the students, teachers, and staff, the donation drive received heartfelt support from the school community. Every contribution, regardless of its amount, reflected the compassion, unity, and concern of everyone who chose to help. The collected donations were properly accounted for and turned over to the families of the two former students as a gesture of encouragement and solidarity.

This initiative highlights the SSLG's commitment to serving not only the current student body but also members of the Mamansual Abdul National High School family who are in need. It serves as a reminder that kindness and unity can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, especially during challenging times. The SSLG extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who generously contributed and prayed for the speedy recovery of the two former students.

To ensure a safe and secure learning environment, the dedicated police officers conducted a routine security inspection at Mamansual Abdul National High School. They respectfully checked students' bags and other belongings as part of the school's preventive safety measures. This initiative aims to protect every learner and maintain peace and order within the campus.

We sincerely thank our police officers for their commitment, professionalism, and continued support in safeguarding our school community. Their presence reminds everyone of the importance of staying vigilant and working together to prevent harmful activities, especially in light of reports of drug-related incidents affecting some schools.

Mamansual Abdul National High School remains committed to promoting a drug-free, safe, and student-friendly environment where every learner can study with confidence and peace of mind.

Yesterday, June 19 2026 Mamansual Abdul National High School successfully conducted an earthquake drill as part of its commitment to disaster preparedness and the safety of every learner and personnel. The activity aimed to strengthen awareness and readiness in responding to possible earthquake emergencies.

At the sound of the alarm, students, teachers, and staff immediately practiced the proper earthquake response by performing the “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” procedure. Participants remained calm and followed the safety protocols while waiting for the signal to evacuate. After the simulated shaking stopped, everyone proceeded in an orderly manner to the designated evacuation areas under the guidance of teachers and school personnel. Proper accounting and monitoring of students were also conducted to ensure everyone's safety. These drills help build preparedness and teach the school community how to respond effectively during actual earthquakes.

The successful conduct of the drill demonstrated the cooperation, discipline, and preparedness of the Mamansualian community. Through activities like this, MANHS continues to promote a culture of safety and resilience, ensuring that students and personnel are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed during emergencies.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), with the assistance of the School Principal Jiomie O. Onggas and in partnership with the Palimbang Youth Organization, demonstrated the true spirit of volunteerism and community service through a donation drive for the victims of the recent earthquake in Maasim. Driven by compassion and solidarity, both organizations worked hand in hand to gather essential goods, financial assistance, and other relief items to support affected families during this challenging time.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the youth to extend help beyond their own communities and serve as agents of positive change. Through the generosity of donors and the collective efforts of the SSLG and Palimbang Youth Organization, the activity not only provided much-needed assistance to earthquake victims but also strengthened the values of empathy, unity, and social responsibility among young leaders and community members.
