📜 OFFICIAL MECHANICS & GUIDELINES

I. Eligibility
1. Open to all Palanasnon.
2. Participants must be 15 years old and above.
3. Contestants may join as solo, duo, or group (maximum of 8 members per group).
4. Registration fee: ₱200 per entry.
5. All participants must complete the registration form before the deadline.

II. Performance Guidelines
1. The contest is open to singing, dancing, instrumental, spoken word, magic, variety acts, and other talents.
2. Performance time limit:
• Minimum: 3 minutes
• Maximum: 5 minutes
3. Exceeding the time limit will result in a deduction of 5 points.
4. Music must be submitted in MP3 format (USB) before the event starts.
5. Props are allowed but must be set up within 1 minute.
6. Any vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate performance will result in automatic disqualification.

1. The piece shall be an original composition by the contestant, written in 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒐/𝑻𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒈.
2. Any quote from other writers may be used provided that proper attribution is made of the work and the author.
3. The piece must be relevant to the LNK 2024 theme : “𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑪𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔: 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑫𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕”.

1. The quiz bee is individual in nature.
2. The quiz bee shall be composed of 3 levels, the easy, average and difficult level, and tie-breaker questions.
3. 10 questions will be given for every round.
4. The quiz bee shall cover questions on current events, youth related topics, and LNK2024 theme-related subjects.
5. A Quiz Master, a Time Keeper and a Scorer shall be assigned to facilitate the quiz bee. A team headed by the Local Youth Development Officer Designate shall evaluate and give decisions in cases of queries and complaints.
6. Cellular and mobile phones are not allowed during the quiz.
7. There will be no elimination, so all contestants can join the 3 levels.
8. The first 3 contestants with the highest scores shall be declared winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd).
9. The participants shall present proof of age and residence. Proof may be any valid ID with address and birthday or a barangay certificate.

1. Questions in any given round may be in the form of Identification, True or False or Multiple Choice with corresponding time limit depending on the round.
2. Each question shall be read twice after which no repetition of the same will be done.

1. Contestants will be given a board and a chalk for answering.
2. The boards shall be raised when the buzzer is pressed.
3. The contestants shall start answering after the Quiz Master says ”GO” and shall stop answering when the allotted time is over. Failure to follow will signal a warning for the first offense and disqualification for the second.
4. Time allotment: Easy ( 10 seconds), Average ( 20 seconds), Difficult ( 30 seconds)
5. Only exact and complete answers will merit full points. Incomplete answers shall not be accepted.
6. Any question or query to the correctness of the answers should be raised before the start of the next question.

𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐒

1. The quiz will follow a point system of scoring.
2. Points shall be distributed as follows: Easy (1 point per correct answer), Average (3 points per correct answer), Difficult (5 points per correct answer)
3. Incorrect, misspelled and no answer is equivalent to zero (0).

Open to all Kabataang Palanasnon ages 15-30.

𝐌𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐒

1. Entries shall be by group/barangay.
2. Number of members/actors shall depend on your casting.
3. Main film production team, including main actors/characters shall be youth ages 15-30 and residents of Palanas. While supporting actors and background actors (extras) may be of any age. However, child actors must have their guardian’s consent.
4. The short film entry must be either relevant to the LNK 2024 theme, or about Digitalization and Social Media.
5. The entries must have a minimum total time of 20 minutes to 40 minutes maximum total time, including opening and closing credits.
6. The entries don’t need to be in English. Bisaya/Minasbate/Palanasnon may be used, however subtitling in English is highly encouraged.
7. The group participants may use mobile phone, DSLR or any other video camera. Animations and computer graphics are also permitted.
8. Usage of pre-recorded music is allowed but these should be acknowledged in the credits of the film.
