A total of 10-kilogram bags of rice were distributed to beneficiaries from 24 barangays of Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur, during a distribution activity held at Barangay Mahayag, Dimataling.

Representing Governor Divina Grace C. Yu, Vice Governor Roseller โ€œRoyโ€ L. Ariosa joined the distribution activity together with Mayor Avelino Yrauda and barangay officials.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur to extend meaningful assistance and support to communities in need.

A meaningful milestone for Zamboanga del Sur as the launch of the Zamboanga del Sur Tourism Website and the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony for the Activation of the Tourist Police Unit were held, strengthening efforts to promote, protect, and showcase the province as a welcoming destination for visitors.

The event was graced by Governor Divina Grace C. Yu, Ms. Dara May L. Cataluรฑa, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region IX, PBGEN Leonardo L. Luna, DRDA, PRO 9, Vice Governor Roseller โ€œRoyโ€ L. Ariosa, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan from the 1st and 2nd Districts, and the Municipal Mayors of Zamboanga del Sur.

More than a launch and a signing, this is a shared commitment to showcase the beauty of our province, strengthen visitor safety, and create meaningful experiences for everyone who comes to Zamboanga del Sur.
