โ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ, ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ marked a meaningful milestone as the ๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ซ ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐๐) celebrated the departure of 42 social work interns as they embarked on their field instruction journey. Anchored on the theme, "Catalyst of Change: Upholding the Values of Service, Integrity, and Social Justice," the ceremony served as both a celebration and a solemn reminder of the profession's mission to empower individuals, advocate for vulnerable communities, and promote positive social change.๐ฉทโจ

โThe ceremony was not only a celebration of this new chapter but also a reminder of the commitment, compassion, and resilience that the social work profession demands. A special highlight of the event was the inspiring message delivered by CITY SOCIAL WELFARE DEVELOPMENT Head- Ma'am Evangeline A. Poquita, MSW, MPA, who shared the realities of social work beyond what is learned in the classroom. She reminded the interns that social work is not simply an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM professionโit is a lifelong commitment that calls for service whenever and wherever people are in need. She also challenged the 42 interns with a thought-provoking question: "Are you truly ready to be in the field?" Her message encouraged every intern to embrace the responsibilities, sacrifices, and fulfillment that come with serving individuals, families, and communities.
