𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀?

Starting this year, the 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 from the Pre-Adoption Forum.

This initiative is spearheaded by the Regional Alternative Child Care Office (RACCO) IV-A CALABARZON to provide a more focused and in-depth discussion of the different programs, allowing sufficient time to discuss each one.

The Alternative Child Care Forum is designed for individuals and families exploring foster care or seeking guidance on alternative child care arrangements and related legal processes.

⚠️ Important clarification:

This forum is NOT an adoption forum. Foster care and adoption are two different child care programs with different purposes, processes, and legal outcomes.

Foster care refers to the planned and temporary care of a child by a licensed foster parent, while efforts are being made toward family reunification, placement with relatives, or other permanent solutions for the child.
