Rotary Club of Ormoc Bay wraps up iWeighOK!, a 180-day feeding program for underweight and stunted children in Brgy. Boroc. In collaboration with the Ormoc Nutrition Office and Brgy. Boroc Council, we've seen significant gains: 2-4 kilos and 6-18 cm growth among the kids! 🎉

Thanks to Doc. Christine Iris Tulayan, City nutrition Action officer and rotarian President Doc Nino Doydora, PP Maria Luz Escalon, CP Evergisto Escalon, PAG Apple Alagon, and all partners. We celebrated with a gift-giving: 2 kg rice, canned goods, and biscuits for the parents.

Rotary Club of Ormoc Bay, led by Dr. Niño Doydora, successfully deployed its 2nd iMakeAReef project in Brgy Bantigue, Ormoc City.

The iMakeAReef project restores and supports local marine life, promoting biodiversity and sustainable fishing practices. Artificial reefs provide habitat and food for various fish species, enhancing marine biodiversity, supporting local fishermen by increasing their catch and income, and raising awareness about marine ecosystem conservation. RCOB will conduct regular checks and repairs to ensure the reefs remain effective and continue engaging with locals to ensure their support and participation.

Thanks to PAG Apple Alagon, Pp Lalaine Marcos, Pp Kito Larrazabal, Dr. Nikki Oppus, Atty. Michael Sevilla, and partners Jerome Anthony V***r (Ormoc Scuba Divers Club), Pedro Dominic Eammiguel (CDRRMO-Ormoc), and Irish Belmonte (BFAR-Ormoc) and to the barangay Bantigue officials for making this happen!

Big shout to Rotary Club of Ormoc Bay and President Dr Niño Jessielito Doydora! 😊 Heart disease awareness forum at Brgy Boroc's iWeighok program – empowering parents with knowledge for healthier lives. Heart disease is the leading cause of death not only in the Philippines, but globally. The forum aims to increase awareness on various heart ailments highlighting on prevention; as prevention is always better than cure. The speaker is an internist, pulmonologist and occupational physician and a part of HEWRAG (Health Education and Wellness Rotary Action Group). 💖
