Since some positions had only one or two candidates, a referendum was conducted to determine their approval by the student body. A two-thirds (โ…”) majority vote was required for the candidates to be officially declared elected.

With regard to the Grade 8 Representative position, only one candidate was proclaimed as elected, having garnered the required number of votes in accordance with the election guidelines. Meanwhile, the remaining Grade 8 Representative position, together with the Grade 11, Grade 7 and Grade 4 Representative positions, shall be filled through a separate election to be held in the next academic year, in accordance with the policies and schedule set by the new Supreme Student Government.

The SSG Elections will take place tomorrow at 1:00 PMโ€”this election displays a meaningful exercise of democracy and responsible student participation. Through the act of voting, students are given the opportunity to shape the leadership, direction, and representation of the Supreme Student Government.

Each vote represents more than a mark on a ballotโ€”it is a conscious expression of oneโ€™s values, expectations, and commitment to principled governance. It signifies support for integrity, competence, and transparency, while guarding against indifference and disengagement.

This election provides a platform for student voices to be heard and for collective aspirations to be brought into dialogue. May every choice be guided by discernment and a sincere desire for leaders who serve with accountability and purpose.

Be present, exercise your right, and vote wisely.

That in all things, God may be glorified.

31/03/2025

On March 28, the students of the Basic Education Department cast their votes to elect a new set of student leaders who will serve and represent them for the Academic Year 2025-2026.

After a thorough counting process led by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), with the guidance and supervision of its Advisers Ms. Claire M. Garciano and Mrs. Merisa C. Lusabe, the COMELEC officially proclaims the following as the newly elected officers of the Supreme Student Government:

PRESIDENT: Keira Cassandra Cardente

VICE PRESIDENTS: Mary Margareth Lusabe & Brix Pinote

SECRETARY: Liana Marie Molina

TREASURER: Brix Eren Lazarte

AUDITOR: Pauline Grace Caรฑeda

P.I.O.s: Marcheline Victoria Rom & Christelle Fiona Sydney

GRADE 12 REPRESENTATIVES: Chris Gale Jao & Charlyn Michaela Jean Sutyla

GRADE 10 REPRESENTATIVES: Hilary Eich Aberilla & Chrislen Jao

GRADE 9 REPRESENTATIVE: Matt Wilfred Guape

GRADE 8 REPRESENTATIVES: Princess Arianne Canillas & Samantha Kaeyla Gochoco

GRADE 6 REPRESENTATIVES: Allyson Love Mutya & Marcelica Villar

GRADE 5 REPRESENTATIVES: Rita Clara Gironella & Keixa Greia Aleona Ma. Nieva

Since only two candidates ran for the positions of Grade 9 and Grade 4 Representative, referenda were conducted to determine the voice of the student body. However, none of the Grade 4 Representative candidates was able to receive a 2/3 majority vote. Hence, the elections for the said position will be held on A.Y. 2025-2026.
