🚨 STANDARD FIRST AID TRAINING 🚨

July 9–11, 2025 || The Western Leyte College Emergency Response Team, under the guidance of Ms. Frances Lopez, RN, and WLC ERT Director Paul Nestor Sarabia, successfully completed the Standard First Aid Training held at the Ormoc Health Emergency Management Services (HEMS) Operations Center in Ormoc City.

Together with CPR-RIMT Rapid Rescue Ormoc, the student responders enhanced their skills through expert-led sessions focused on life-saving techniques, emergency preparedness, and compassionate community service.

This training further equips them to be confident, competent, and ready to serve when every second counts. 🙌⛑️

July 10, 2025 || The WLC - Emergency Response Team under the leadership of ERT Adviser Frances Lopez, RN and ERT Director Paul Nestor Sarabia, and the Student Responders gathered in solemn thanksgiving during the Baccalaureate Mass held at the Our Lady Of Fatima Church Brgy Cogon, Ormoc City. This Mass marked the spiritual culmination of the academic journey of the Class of 2025.

As they step into the next chapter of their lives, the graduates carry with them not only knowledge but a heart rooted in faith and service. 🎓

June 22, 2025 || The Western Leyte College (WLC) Emergency Response Team, under the guidance of Ms. Frances Lopez, RN, and WLC ERT Director Paul Nestor Sarabia, together with CPR-RIMT Rapid Rescue Ormoc, actively participated in the Piña Festival Grand Showdown held at the Ormoc City Sports Complex.

🚨 1ST-QUARTER MASS CASUALTY INCIDENT: FULL-SCALE EMERGENCY SIMULATION EXERCISE 🚨

April 4, 2025 || The Western Leyte College (WLC) Emergency Response Team recently showcased their preparedness and commitment to ensuring safety in times of crisis. Alongside the Red Cross Youth of Western Leyte College and CPR RIMT Rapid Rescue Rider - Ormoc, our team participated in a Mass Casualty Incident: Full-Scale Emergency Simulation Exercise held at the CONAHS building of Western Leyte College.

This large-scale simulation was designed to test the readiness, interoperability, and efficiency of our emergency responders in managing and responding to a mass casualty scenario.

Their dedication and preparedness played an important role to ensure the participants and performers safety and provide immediate medical assistance.

The WLC Emergency Response Team, under the guidance of Ms. Frances Lopez, RN, ERT Adviser and Paul Nestor Sarabia, ERT Director acted as responders and first aid providers to guarantee the audience and contestants safety and well-being from each departments during the coronation night of Ms WLC held at Ormoc City Superdome and with the collaboration of the Red Cross Youth of Western Leyte College.

Their readiness and commitment played an important role in ensuring the safety and providing immediate medical assistance to the audience and contestants.

The WLC Emergency Response Team, under the guidance of Ms. Frances Lopez, RN, ERT Adviser and Paul Nestor Sarabia, ERT Director with the collaboration of Red Cross Youth Of Western Leyte College served as standby first aid and responders during the Literary and Musical Contest held at Ormoc City Superdome, ensuring the safety and well-being of the participants for the 80th Founding Anniversary of WLC.

Their dedication and preparedness played an important role to ensure the participants' and contestants safety and provide immediate medical assistance.
