LOOK: "On October 19, 2024, the ERT Envi-Team carried out another successful tree planting and tree guarding activity at Lilo-an Elementary School. The team planted fruit-bearing trees, which will greatly benefit the school by providing fresh produce and enhancing the environment. Despite facing heavy rainfall, the dedicated team persevered, ensuring the activity was completed smoothly and safely. Their efforts contribute not only to environmental conservation but also to promoting sustainability within the school community."

INITIATIVE| A 2 days Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices Training was successfully conducted by ERT-CDE HOLDINGS INC. together with DOST VIII headed by Dr. John Glenn D. Ocaña (Provincual S&T Director) and Ms. Imelda S. Picorro (Science Research Specialist II). We are also honored by the presence of City Health Department of Ormoc Headed by Ms.Emilyn R. Icalina (Sanitary Inspector V).

The support and initiative of the company to create a workplace that is safe and clean to the consumers are well adverse as our CEO and President Sir Eric Joseph Q. Tolo delivers his words of affirmation and support.

The 2 days training is indeed comprehensive and interactive, the 1st day was lecture and the 2nd day was a Mock Audit to our branches. We saw challenges that we acknowledged to find solutions.

We are thankful with DOST, Ormoc City Health, ERT Envi-Team, Dayka, Estong, Crispy King, Top Management, ST, TL's, and everyone who became part of this event. We assure to apply all our learnings to our facilities and branches.

CLEAN-UP DRIVE| A simultaneous clean-up drive and waste orientation was conducted this morning March 22, 2023, 6:00am at Malbasag River by employees of ERT-CDE Holdings, Inc. to celebrate the World Water Day 2024.

Environment and Natural Resources Office - Ormoc City assigned us to clean station 3 of Malbasag river together with some organization and company of Ormoc City. We have accumulated about 20 sacks of non-biodegradable waste from the estero to be collected by an ormoc garbage collector. Headed by the company PCO, Francis Gonzales, and his ERT Envi Team the activity was indeed a success.

Malbasag Rivers is an estero adapted by law with ERT-CDE Holdings and EMB Region 8. Thus, we will continue to clean these bodies of water every quarter as part of taking care of our mother nature.

WATER CONSERVATION| As a celebration of World Water Day ERT-CDE Holdings, Inc. is one of the companies that participated in protecting our mother earth by conserving water. All employees of the commissary pledged to conserve water by reducing the water flow of the faucet, using the rainwater, reusing water, and etc. This initiative started last January 2024 and resulted in a promising outcome from 700 m3 to 300 m3 this month. Sinages also helped a lot reminding the people to conserve water as much as possible.
