In line with strengthening disaster preparedness, 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐲𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 — 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 joins the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 (𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐃) on March 12, 2026.

This promotes awareness and preparedness for students not just the CRCY members but also students of Western Leyte College for them to be equipped with knowledge in times of emergencies

Kicking off this year’s Intramurals with energy, teamwork, and service! The College Red Cross Youth – Western Leyte College, together with WLC ERT, WLC SPRCY, Rapid Rescue, and BSP served as the medical team for the Opening Ceremony held at the Superdome on September 29, 2025.

Our teams stood ready to ensure a safe and successful start to an exciting week of sports and camaraderie.✨

From the courts of WLC Gym to the tracks of Ormoc Sports Complex, the College Red Cross Youth – Western Leyte College, together with Senior Plus Red Cross Youth (SPRCY) and Emergency Response Team (ERT), served as the medical team for the Badminton, Sepak Takraw, Men’s Basketball, and Track & Field Events held on September 27, 2025.

From smashes and spikes to fast breaks and sprints — our volunteers stood ready at every corner, making sure every game was played with safety.
