🏞️ TAMAK 15th Anniversary Celebration 💚

What a meaningful and memorable weekend as we celebrated 15 years of TAMAK together!

We were truly blessed to spend the Sabbath worshiping with our brothers and sisters at Sabang Seventh-day Adventist Church, where we were reminded of God’s faithfulness and His constant guidance throughout the years.

As the sun set, we headed to Coco Groove Beach Resort, Talahid, where we held our annual meeting, reflected on our journey as a group, and shared ideas for the years ahead. The evening was filled with fellowship and laughter, as we reminisced the precious memories we’ve created together through the years.

Looking back, we are grateful for every trail conquered, every challenge overcome, every friendship built, every opportunity to witness and appreciate God’s wonderful creation, and every church outreach ministries participated. Above all, we thank the Lord for sustaining TAMAK for 15 years and for blessing us with a family united by faith, adventure, and service.

A special thanks to our brethren of Sabang Seventh-day Adventist Church, especially to the family of Jennifer Mangubat-Barrientos & Dodong Neil Barrientos, and Jonathan Ren Donaire & Jerra Jordan-Donaire, for your warm hospitality, the sumptuous meals you’ve prepared, and for being such wonderful hosts throughout our stay.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the one who generously sponsored half of our accommodation expenses. Your support and generosity are deeply appreciated and helped make this celebration possible. May the Lord richly bless you for your kindness.

Here’s to many more years of adventure, fellowship, and serving God together.

After a fulfilling evangelistic crusade, the group had a get together and a post-crusade meeting.

Embracing the serenity of the morning, we had our worship atop this foggy hill. We found strength and inspiration in nature's beauty, filling our hearts with peace and purpose. With sincere gratitude to our Creator, we renew our commitment of service to His cause.

All Glory and Praises to our Almighty Father for the success of the Evangelistic Crusade held at Macabug, Ormoc City. Precious souls were brought to Jesus feet. May we continue to joyfully proclaim God's love and salvation.

MISSION UPDATE: CIVIL UNREST IN BANGLADESH 🇧🇩

It is with regret that the team will have to postpone the mission trip to Bangladesh this year. Our deepest sympathy goes to Bipul and his team, and all the affected civilians especially minorities, such as Christians and Hindus.

In mid-June 2024, student protests that began peacefully over the reinstatement of a civil service quota system escalated into violence and human rights abuses by security forces. Hundreds are thought to have died, with thousands more injured. There are compelling signs that security forces employed excessive and unjustified force, with reports of extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, torture, and heavy restrictions on free expression and peaceful assembly, warranting an independent investigation. There is a significant restrictions on internet access and disruption to communication channels during this period.

Pastor Philip from Dhaka reported to us: “We, the minorities, are facing problems here in Bangladesh. The men try to protect our campus at night as watchmen. In the villages, Hindus, Christians, and other minorities are facing a very critical situation. Every night the terrorists are attacking all of us in Bangladesh. Tell the people of your country to help us as well as other minorities. There are no protection here by the authorities like the Police and other agencies. In Bipul's area, there is no internet, so they are in a very vulnerable situation. Please pray for us.”

In view of the ongoing situation, we could not risk the safety of the missionaries to continue the mission trip there for now. However, the dental mission will still go on as planned with great discretion, headed by Prince Sircar. The team from the Philippines will have to reroute to India and go there earlier.
