We’re excited to share a heartwarming update from the 25 beneficiaries of our Vulnerable Children & Youth Development (VCYD) Project in partnership with inter+mission.

This month of May 2026, we released educational support to the beneficiaries, including essential school supplies to help them prepare for the upcoming school year and continue pursuing their education with confidence and hope.

As part of our holistic approach, the parents of the beneficiaries also participated in a community service activity by cleaning the surroundings, promoting shared responsibility, teamwork, and active community involvement.

While the parents attended a Parent Effectiveness Session, the children participated in a psychosocial activity focused on Cognitive Development through engaging word builder and vocabulary challenge activities. These activities aimed to enhance their vocabulary and critical thinking interactively.

We are sincerely grateful to inter+mission for their unwavering support and partnership in helping improve the lives of vulnerable children and families in the community.

Through our advocacy sessions, we helped children understand how to recognize safe and unsafe touches, the importance of speaking up, and how to identify trusted adults they can turn to. This advocacy was made possible in partnership with the Cogon Child Development Worker and the Brgy. Cogon Council. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our partner stakeholders and generous donor for their support in making this activity possible.

Together, let us continue to stand for children’s rights and strengthen our commitment to child protection in our communities.
