September 20, 2025 | Together with various agencies, organizations and youth leaders in the entire city, Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo Ormoc City Chapter joins the 40th International Coastal Clean-Up 2025.

Community Affairs and Development Unit (CADU) of Ormoc City Police Office together with Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo successfully conducted KKDAT Pakighimamat to the KKDAT Officers and members of KKDAT Station 2 and selected students of T. Aviles Elementary School on September 3, 2024 at Brgy. Cabulihan Covered Court.

KKDAT-OCC Vice-President, Ms. Aliana Keith Dagatan discuss KKDAT'S Role, Purpose, it's mission and Vision. Relevant discussions includes Drug Awareness, preventive measures and ill effects, Youth Empowerment Vs. Terrorism and raducalization.

Brgy. Captain of Brgy. Cabulihan, Hon. Bonifacio Mendoza, Cluster Head, Hon. James Francis Bebanco and T. Aviles Elementary School Teachers are also present during the activity.

This initiatives aims to empower the youth and ignites their spirit of volunteerism, encourages them to become an active partner of the Local Government Unit of Ormoc and Ormoc City Police Office in fight against illegal drugs and terrorism, and holistic approach towards peace and development.

Relevant discussions includes Drug Awareness, preventive measures and ill effects, Youth Empowerment Vs. Terrorism and Radicalization.

Ormoc Sk Federation President and Secretary, Hon. Jhana Lyka T. Calixtro and Hon. Roegem Francis Dumalan are also present during the activity.

Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo Ormoc City Chapter actively participated and involved in the various activities during the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 with the theme Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond.

The organization is beyond grateful for the opportunity and learning gained throught the various activities. Our unwavering support shows our commitment as active partner of the Sangguniang Kabataan and City Youth Development Office on youth development programs.

Moreover, the organization also won 2nd place in aVIDEOcacy Short Film Making Contest and 3rd Place in Best in Advocacy Booth during the Youth Organization Fair 2025.

Thankful for ma'am Ana Marie Quisagan, Hon. Kia Mercadal and Hon. Jhana Lyka Calixtro for providing inclusive avenues for the youth paving way for their learning and holistic growth. The organization will always support and extend our helping hands in any way possible.

The 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐨 - 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 won 2𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 in the 𝙖𝙑𝙄𝘿𝙀𝙊𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙢 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 during the celebration of 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 with the theme "𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐃𝐆𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝".

Reynato D. Sosmeña Jr., KKDAT president received the award during the LNK 2025 Culminating Activity and Gala Night held on August 16, 2025 at Ormoc City Superdome.

This success wouldn't be possible without the dedication of our editor Mr. Alexander John Dicdican who also conceptualized the film. Also, recognizing the effort of our actors and actresses, Rechel Ann Remitar, Joschille Mae Luchavez, Paul Adrian Toriano, Eric Gallego, Neri Rogian, Justine Arpon, Rodolfo Balasbas, Ken Poraso, Gian Lorenz Cadianza, and Kobbe Sombal.
