NUTRITION MONTH FUN FACT:

Katulad ng sitaw, ikaw ay mahalaga sa araw-araw. Ang sitaw ay mayaman sa dietary fiber na tumutulong sa tamang daloy ng ating panunaw, at nakatutulong ito upang makaiwas sa sakit gaya ng constipation at colon problems.

Hindi lang โ€™yan! Taglay din ng sitaw ang vitamin C, na nagpapalakas ng immune system, at folate, na mahalaga para sa mga cell function at lalo na sa mga nagbubuntis. Mayroon din itong antioxidants na lumalaban sa mga free radicals sa katawan.

Ang sili ay hindi lang pampainit ng ulam kundi masustansyang gulay na may capsaicin na tumutulong sa pagtunaw ng taba, pagpapababa ng cholesterol, at pagpapabilis ng metabolismo. Mataas din ito sa Vitamin C na pampalakas ng immune system at may Vitamin A na mabuti sa mata. Bukod pa rito, nakakapagpalabas ito ng happy hormones na nagpapasaya sa atin.
