FROM PROTECTING LIVES TO NURTURING NATURE!

It was an incredibly productive day as the Kalasag Responders joined forces with our highly motivated ROTC Cadets for a significant tree planting activity. This powerful collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment to service—not only by protecting the community in times of crisis, but also by actively preserving our environment.

Together, we planted hundreds of seedlings, investing in the ecological health and beauty of our local area.

TRAINING SUCCESS! GAWAD KALASAG ON THEIR LAST TRAINING, TRAINED BY OPOL BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION AND COORDINATED BY MRS. JILL ABUBACAR.

Congratulations to Gawad Kalasag! for a successful training on September 18, 2025, at TABOC OPOL GYMNASIUM in the morning and at OPOL COMMUNITY COLLEGE conference room in the afternoon. In a 2-day training, the Gawad Kalasag brought the knowledge on how to fight fires, using fire extinguishers and fire hoses. As well as the methods of transferring patients, Kalasag showcased the dedication and determination. This training would not have been a success without the support of OPOL BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION and MRS. JILL ABUBACAR. 🔥🚒

The Gawad kalasag are on their first Training together with BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION trainer held at OPOL COMMUNITY COLLEGE conference room. This Training will help the kalasag group, boosting their confidence in emergency response, and make them knowledgeable to tackle emergencies like fires and natural disasters.
