⚜️GOOD MORNING!⚜️

To the Three Participants of the Emergency Service Training Course (ESTC) from ONSTS scouts.

Sct. Justine Miguel D. Ibale
Sct. John Paolo Udtojan
Sct. France Gascon

Warmest congratulations to our three participants from Opol National Secondary Technical School for successfully completing the 7-day Emergency Service Training Course (ESTC) held at San Jose Elementary School Medina Misamis Oriental from May 4–10, 2026.

Your dedication, courage, and perseverance throughout the intensive training have brought pride and honor to your school and district. Despite the physically and mentally activities, limited hours of sleep, and the constant possibility of emergency situations at any time, you remained committed to reaching the standards expected of every trainee. Your determination and teamwork proved that true service comes with discipline, sacrifice, and responsibility.

Through your hard work and endurance, you successfully completed the course and earned the title of Certified First Aider. This achievement reflects your readiness to serve and respond in times of emergencies and disasters. As you move forward toward becoming official graduates of the Emergency Service Corps after completing your respective On-the-Job Training (OJT) in your assigned district departments, may you continue to uphold the values of leadership, compassion, and service to the community.

Your accomplishment serves as an inspiration to your fellow students and scouts. May this milestone encourage you to continue developing your skills and commitment as future emergency responders and community leaders.

Once again, congratulations on this remarkable achievement. We are proud of all that you have accomplished and wish you success in your future service endeavors.

Normalize saying, “Scouting is not just for events.”

Some scouts only become active when there’s a jamboree, competition, camp, or something exciting to post online. But disappear during meetings, preparations, clean-ups, and the small responsibilities that actually keep the movement going.

The truth is, scouting was never meant to be seasonal. It’s not only about being present when it’s fun, visible, or beneficial. Real scouting is also about showing up even on ordinary days — helping without being asked, staying involved without needing recognition, and being dependable even when no spotlight is around.

Because at the end of the day, commitment is seen more in consistency than in appearances. Anyone can wear the uniform during events, but not everyone is willing to carry the responsibility that comes with it.

And honestly, the people who stay during the quiet days are usually the ones who truly understand what scouting is all about.

Until we meet again — because in Scouting, the word “goodbye” never truly exists.

And in every ending of a Scouting activity, the saddest part always comes with the Scout Benediction. Because after the final gathering, it may take days, months, or even years before we meet again.

The laughter slowly fades, the field becomes quiet again, and everyone starts walking back to their own lives carrying memories they wish lasted longer.

But the good thing is, no matter how far life takes us, Scouting always has a way of bringing people back together again. Different place, different time, same bond.

And maybe that is why “until we meet again” never sounds empty — because deep inside, we know one day, somehow, our paths will cross again.

Until we meet again. ⚜️

Someone once asked me, “What makes scouting so special?” and for a moment, I struggled to answer. I thought about the camps, the uniforms, the badges, the trainings, and all the memories made along the way. But none of those things alone felt enough to explain why scouting stays in a person’s heart for so long.

Then I looked at the people beside me — the ones who stayed through the hardest hikes, the sleepless camps, the failures, the growth, and the moments when giving up felt easier than continuing. The ones who reminded me to keep going without even realizing how much their presence mattered. And suddenly, everything made sense.

Scouting was never just about learning survival skills or earning achievements. It was about becoming part of something bigger than yourself. It teaches you how to stand back up after difficult days, how to serve quietly, and how to become someone others can lean on.

Somewhere along the journey, the people around you stop feeling like strangers. They become the people you share stories, struggles, laughter, and unforgettable moments with. Not connected by blood, but by experiences that slowly shape all of you together.

And maybe that’s why scouting stays with people for so long. Because one day, you realize it was never only about the camps or the awards.

It was about the people who helped you grow, believed in you during moments you doubted yourself, and became a part of your life in ways words can barely explain.

And no matter how far life takes you, a part of you will always find its way back there.
