Napahigayon kagahapon (April 16, 2026) ang ika-upat nga regular meeting alang karong tuiga sa SK Federation pinanguluhan ni Hon. Jeric John Cagalawan ang SK Federation President sa lungsod uban ang 11 ka kauban nga SK Chairperson niini (duha ang absent).

Kini gitambungan usab ni Ms. Rosemarie Anne C. Alamban - DOH HRH NDP aron makighisgot kabahin sa Adolescent Program sa matag SK sa kada-barangay.

Apil sa gihisgutan ang umalabot nga "Vibe Check: Opol SK Kamustahan" nga ipahigayon sa LYDO sa matag barangay.

The National Youth Commission, together with the Government Procurement Policy Board – Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO), is rolling out a Training Needs Assessment (TNA) to co-create specialized Procurement Modules designed for and with the Sangguniang Kabataan.

This assessment goes beyond simple compliance, evaluating how Bids and Awards Committees operate and how investment programs transition into actual procurement plans. Your input is essential for creating a specialized procurement manual that is legally sound and responsive to the unique budget cycles and projects of the youth sector.

By co-creating these tools with you, we aim to empower SK leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to implement more effective, transparent and impactful programs for the youth.

Because better procurement leads to better projects, and better outcomes for the Filipino youth. 💡

BAWAL BASTOS LAW: KNOW YOUR RIGHTS ⚖️🚫

The Safe Spaces Act, commonly known as the Bawal Bastos Law, prohibits gender-based harassment in both public and private spaces, including streets, workplaces, schools, and online platforms.

The law recognizes that all individuals, regardless of gender or identity, have the right to equality, safety, and dignity, and covers acts such as catcalling, lewd comments, stalking, unwanted physical contact, and other offensive behaviors.

Victims, whether female or male, may file complaints under the act, which imposes penalties on offenders to ensure accountability and protect the public from harassment.

Last February 14, 2026 at Opol Municipal Park, we came together for a meaningful Symposium on Sexual Health, Reproductive Health, and Mental Health, empowering conversations that truly matter.

From heartfelt spoken poetry to electrifying live band performances, the park was filled with passion, awareness, and unforgettable moments.

DILG X is now accepting applications for the issuance of the Certificate of Incumbency and Certificate of Service Rendered for Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials, which are required for SK Official Eligibility (SKOE) pursuant to guidelines of the Civil Service Commission.

Interested applicants may visit the DILG City Director (for Highly Urbanized Cities) or the DILG City/Municipal Local Government Operations Officer in their respective Local Government Units (LGUs) to request the necessary certificates.
