This meeting marked the beginning of a closer collaboration between the fire station and the local government, reaffirming their joint commitment to serving the public. SINSP GALPO, who recently assumed leadership of the Opol Fire Station, expressed his dedication to enhancing fire safety and emergency response efforts within the municipality.
Mayor Atty. Jayfrancis R.Bago warmly welcomed SINSP GALPO and reiterated the municipal government's support for the fire stationโs initiatives.
They deliberated on a crucial project that aims to enhance the municipality's safety: the placement of fire hydrants in key locations throughout Opol. This plan will be carried out in collaboration with Engr. Raul B. Rivas Jr. of South Balibago Waterworks, a service provider of Opol, Misamis Oriental, ensuring that the municipality is well-prepared for any fire-related emergencies.
The courtesy call emphasized the significance of maintaining a strong relationship between the local government and the fire station. Both parties expressed their commitment to collaborating and prioritizing public safety.
