Last March 25, 2025, Hirang ng Hiraya had the privilege of joining Al-Raid MSO USTP for LumaPEACE Tano! Mini Iftar, a meaningful gathering that fostered interfaith dialogue between Muslims and non-Muslims. We witnessed how our Muslim brothers and sisters break their fast, experiencing the prayers and rituals that mark this sacred moment of Ramadan. A heartfelt discussion followed, where we explored common misconceptions about Ramadan and shared insights into how Christians observe Holy Week, highlighting the beautiful similarities between the two traditions.

This event was more than just a meal—it was a step towards deeper understanding, respect, and unity. Engaging in open conversations allowed us to strengthen the bonds between different faiths and appreciate the richness of each other’s beliefs. It was truly an unforgettable experience for Hirang ng Hiraya, reaffirming the importance of interfaith dialogue in promoting peace for everyone. ✨

𝐒𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐨? 🍎🍇🍉🍌

In the spirit of compassion, unity, and community support, we proudly introduce the Saan Aabot ang Prutas Mo? initiative. This project aims to encourage young people, particularly the non-Muslim youth, to actively participate in the celebration of Ramadan by supporting the Iftar Drive. The initiative invites individuals to donate a simple fruit, symbolizing the power of collective action and the far-reaching impact of even the smallest contributions.

The primary objective of this initiative is to foster interfaith solidarity by encouraging non-Muslim youth to engage in a meaningful act of kindness during Ramadan. Through this effort, we aim to provide nourishment for those fasting during the holy month, while simultaneously promoting the values of empathy, unity, and social responsibility.

Let’s show our solidarity this Ramadan by supporting the Saan Aabot ang Prutas Mo? initiative of Hirang ng Hiraya in partnership with Al-Raid MSO USTP CDO.
