ENVIRONMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

A. General Mechanics

1. The contest is open to all students from Grade 7 to Grade 10.
2. The contest shall have a clear environmental theme, such as but not limited to:
Climate Change
Pollution
Environmental Conservation
3. Each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of ONE (1) entry only.
4. The competition will officially start on February 9 at 9:00 AM.
5. Participants must proceed to the Science Laboratory for registration at the start of the competition.
After registration, participants are given 1 hour to:
Take a photograph within the school premises only
Create a photo title and caption
6. The photograph must be original, raw, and unedited.
7. Photo manipulation, filters, or enhancements are strictly prohibited.
8. The photo entry must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format and must include the following information:
Photo Title
Photo Caption
Full Name of the Photographer (Last Name, First Name)
9. All entries must be submitted to the YES-O page within the given time frame.

B. Scoring Mechanics
The photography entries will be judged based on the following criteria:
Relevance to the Theme โ€“ 40%
Composition and Creativity โ€“ 30%
