The Gordon College Supreme Student Council is an assemblage of student leaders joined by virtue.

The Gordon College Supreme Student Council is the official representative of the students of Gordon College in all activities held within and outside the school. It shall work to promote and protect the rights and welfare of the students by conducting regular consultation with them. The SSC shall also foster a closer relationship among students and the other sectors of the society in order to instill national consciousness for the advancement of the Filipino People.

In line with the 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘆-𝗹𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 - 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 introduces critical structural amendments and reforms in the revision. This initiative aims to provide a clearer and efficient framework for the studentry, engineered to institutionalize transparency, protect student welfare, and modernize the democratic processes.

As we further our aim to move toward a new era of student leadership, we encourage every GCian to review these provisions. This Constitution is more than a document—it is a covenant of service, integrity, and transformative leadership.

𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥: The attached Revised Constitution and By-laws of the Gordon College - Student Government 2025 has been approved at the Supreme Student Council officer level, as part of the process of amending the current Constitution as stipulated in Article XV.

For it to be effective for implementation starting A.Y. 2026 – 2027, the following processes must be observed:
1. Approval of the Board of Trustees; and
2. Approval of the Student Body of Gordon College through a plebiscite.

The 𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 - 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐆𝐂-𝐒𝐒𝐂) approved the 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙮-𝙡𝙖𝙬𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 - 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 2025, an initiative to further instill transparency, student participation, and shared governance within the institution.

Pursuant to 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗫𝗩, 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗖-𝗦𝗦𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘆-𝗹𝗮𝘄𝘀, amendments may be made by an affirmative vote of two thirds of all council officers, provided that the proposed amendment must be presented in writing at the previous meeting of the council and copies thereof be sent to all council officers at least two (2) days prior to its consideration.

In this regard, a Special Meeting was called by the 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 on December 14, 2025, adopting 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟬, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, entitled, "𝘼 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙙𝙤𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙮-𝙡𝙖𝙬𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 - 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 2025." With nine (9) officers present, the Board unanimously resolved to adopt the revision with the decision to conduct a plebiscite to consult the student body for their approval.

The revision aims to reform the structure of the Student Council, reinforcing its duty as the highest student governing body in promoting student welfare and rights within the College. It also serves as a step in modernizing student governance by updating rules with more transparent and efficient protocols, clarifying roles and responsibilities of student leaders, and creating a more inclusive framework that reflects current institutional realities and student concerns.

The 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 will continue to disseminate information regarding the new Constitution and By-laws prior to the plebiscite.

In celebration of World AIDS Day 2025, Gordon College, through its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Unit, in partnership with GC Health Services Unit and the City Health Office, will be offering FREE HIV Testing and FREE Chest X-ray Screening on December 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Gordon College.

These services aim to promote health awareness and encourage early detection for the well-being of our community.

All GC students, faculty, and personnel are invited to participate.

Sa layuning mapagtibay ang adhikain para sa sangkaestudyantehan, ang 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 - 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗚𝗖-𝗦𝗦𝗖) ay nagsagawa ng isang benchmarking activity. Ang aktibidad na ito ay naglalayon na matutunan ang mga pinakamahuhusay na kasanayan, patakaran, at istruktura ng iba’t ibang Student Council o Student Government sa Central Luzon.

Kabilang sa mga paaralang binisita ng 𝗚𝗖-𝗦𝗦𝗖 ay ang 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙪𝙯𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 (𝘾𝙇𝙎𝙐). Dito, nagbigay ang mga lider-estudyante mula sa 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 (𝙐𝙎𝙎𝘾) ng mga impormasyon ukol sa kanilang mga programa at aktibidad na isinasagawa para sa mga estudyante. Kasama rin sa diskusyon ang mga partikular na tungkulin ng bawat opisyal ng konseho, ang mga mekanismo ng ugnayan sa mga lokal o College Councils at mga organisasyon, at pagbisita sa opisina ng kanilang konseho. Sa pangunguna nina 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗹𝗷𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼 (CLSU-USSC Chairperson) at 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹 (CLSU-USSC Vice Chairperson), naging makabuluhan ang talakayan sa pagitan ng 𝘾𝙇𝙎𝙐-𝙐𝙎𝙎𝘾 at 𝗚𝗖-𝗦𝗦𝗖 sa unang bahagi ng aktibidad na ito.

Sa kabilang banda, ibinida ng 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙖𝙘 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 - 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 (𝙏𝙎𝙐-𝙎𝙎𝘾) ang kanilang mga programa, proyekto, at aktibidad na kinagigiliwan ng mga mag-aaral sa kanilang pamantasan. Kabilang dito ang iba’t ibang income generating projects na nagsisilbing karagdagang pinagmumulan ng badyet—bukod sa taunang alokasyon ng konseho—upang makapagpatupad ng mas marami pang proyekto sa unibersidad. Kasama sa naging diskurso ang mismong University President ng TSU na si 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗘. 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗼 at ang TSU-SSC Adviser na si 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗼, kasama ang iba pang miyembro at senador ng konseho sa pangunguna ni 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟. 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 (TSU-SSC President at Student Regent).

Huling binisita ng 𝗚𝗖-𝗦𝗦𝗖 ang 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 (𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙎𝙐) sa sumunod na araw kung saan naghanda ng isang komprehensibong programa ang 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙎𝙐 - 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙎𝙐-𝙎𝙂). Mainit na tinanggap ng BulSU-SG sa pangunguna ng kanilang Pangulo na si 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀, na nagsisilbi ring Rehente ng Mag-aaral, kasama ang mga senador at iba pang miyembro ng gobyerno. Kabilang din sa pagtanggap ang ilang opisyal ng unibersidad, sina 𝗚. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗥𝗼𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 (Dean of Student Affairs for Main Campus) at 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 (Dean of Student Affairs for External Campuses), ang delegasyon ng Gordon College.

Sa panimulang sesyon, inihalad ni 𝗦𝗲𝗻. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗯𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗲 ang iba’t ibang programa ng 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙎𝙐-𝙎𝙂 na kanilang isinasagawa at kung paano nakikipag-ugnayan ang 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙎𝙐-𝙎𝙂 sa mga organisasyon ng kanilang institusyon. Ibinahagi naman ni 𝗦𝗲𝗻. 𝗝𝗖 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 ang iba’t ibang aktibidad na naglalayong paigtingin ang kakayahan ng mga lider-estudyante at ang balangkas ng kanilang gobyerno, kasama ang pinagtibay na 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘺-𝘭𝘢𝘸𝘴, 𝘍𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘥𝘦, 𝘢𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘢 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘢 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 ng 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙎𝙐. Sa pagtatapos ng programa, inilahad ni 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀 ang istruktura ng kanilang pamahalaan, kabilang ang tungkulin ng tatlong (3) sangay ng gobyerno ng 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙎𝙐-𝙎𝙂. Nagbigay din ng iba’t ibang rekomendasyon ang 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙎𝙐-𝙎𝙂 kung paano mapapaigting ang kapangyarihan ng konseho upang protektahan at pangalagaan ang karapatan ng bawat mag-aaral sa dalubhasaan.

Ang mga natutunan sa tatlong (3) unibersidad ay magsisilbing batayan ng kasalukuyang konseho sa pagreporma at pagpapaigting ng istruktura at polisiya para sa mga mag-aaral.

𝘐𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘨𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘢 𝘬𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘩𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘣𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘢𝘯.
