Solution to pollution, created with innovation✨

This week’s Monday F5 brings you… FLOKRA!

FLOKRA is an autonomous, solar-powered robot😁 that removes microplastics from bodies of water. Ir utilizes materials that can be found at home🏠 and make them into something revolutionary😮🌍!

It uses Okra mucilage🧐 which is a natural, non-toxic bio coagulant that clumps microplastics together, making them easier to filter😉!

We have introduced two✌️robots so far so stay tuned for the next one😉🤖💜

RAPUNZPILL!💈🛢️

An automated robot featured in GMA News was developed by Grade 11 Reggies. They utilized human and dog hair😮 to automatically collect oil in their device, creating an ecologically friendly solution to clean up oil spills in our country.😉

Hello, Reggies!

Welcome back to Monday F5’s! Wanna know an interesting fact about robots?

💡 There are robots made entirely out of soft, squishy materials that don’t use traditional batteries or metal parts and they can move autonomously. One famous example is Octobot, a robot shaped like a tiny octopus that moves on its own using chemical reactions instead of electrical power.

It’s considered one of the first fully soft-bodied autonomous robots, which is a big deal in robotics because most robots are rigid and mechanical.

This is unique because most robots we think of are made of metal, plastic, and motors but Octobot shows that future robots might be entirely flexible and more like living organisms in how they move and operate.

Hello Reggies! Did you miss us? 'Cause we've missed you! We would like introduce to you the DIGIT ROBOT 🏃🤖!

This diva is a bipedal humanoid robot designed to work alongside humans in warehouses and logistics, navigating human-built spaces with its two legs and arms.

It performs tasks like unloading trucks and moving packages, addressing labor shortages with its ability to handle physical, repetitive jobs, and representing a significant step towards general-purpose robots in commercial operations.😮💜

A one meter tall open source robotics humanoid robot was manufactured by the Italian Institute of Technology🤖😮

This child-like robot was designed to test the hypothesis that human-like manipulation plays a crucial role in the development of a person🧐

The biggest beefsteak — HA?!

Don’t you mean, BIGGEST FLYING ROBOTIC INSECT🦟?!

This Monday F5 presents to you.. BionicOpter! Where Festo’s invention has landed in the Guinness World Records🫣.

It is an ultra-light flying object, inspired after the bird flight had been deciphered with the SmartBird in the year 2011🤔😮

Just like a dragonfly, they can go in different directions and even perform complicated flight maneuvers🧐🧐

Small hands but big ideas💡 ✨

The CybeRS Club recently held project GEARS ⚙️ (Generating Excellence in Advance Robotics Skills with LEGO Prime Kits) last Nov, 26 2025, wherein students from ilalim Elementary School learned basic movements and codes using Lego Spike🤖🧱. These young minds code, build, and use their imagination to transform the future🦿🛠️.

The club also held a competition afterwards to showcase their innovative skills and creations that were taught by the one and only, Engr. Rachelle Tablan!🦾.

Get ready, RSHS III! Bright students from this school can’t wait to join the family😉🤍
