Today marks a meaningful milestone for Grand Microfinance Entrepreneurs Initiative Philippines (GMEI PH) as we officially launch the Aral-Bukid Project in the farming community of Sacatihan, Subic.
The name โAral-Bukidโ comes from two Filipino words: โAralโ (Learning) and โBukidโ (Farm or Field)โreflecting our vision of bringing learning directly to the fields where our farmers work every day.
For the next 12 months, we will walk alongside the hardworking farmers of this community by providing free seminars on Financial Literacy and Management, Mental Health Awareness, and Agricultural Education. Our goal is simple but powerfulโto equip our farmers not only with knowledge for their crops, but also with wisdom for their finances and strength for their well-being.
Behind every harvest is a farmer who wakes up early, works under the heat of the sun, and carries the hope of feeding families and communities. ๐ฑ
Through Aral-Bukid, we want them to know that their hard work matters and that they are not alone in building a better future.
Today we plant the seeds of knowledge.
In time, we pray it will grow into stronger farms, healthier families, and empowered communities.
๐พ Together, we grow. Together, we harvest hope.
