Batang 'Gapo Organization, Inc.
Putting public interest and community above self.
The Batang 'Gapo Organization, Inc. (BGO) is a dynamic people’s organization deeply rooted in Olongapo City, founded on the principle of promoting public interest and fostering inclusive community development. BGO is committed to uplifting the quality of life for city residents through active participation, advocacy, and service delivery.
History and Commitment:
Established initially on February 24, 2013, BGO began as an influential online platform that served as a public forum for Olongapo residents, including those based overseas, to share information and ideas. Recognizing the need for direct, impactful action, active members formally organized into a non-profit entity on August 28, 2013, and secured official registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) the same year.
BGO's guiding mission is to implement programs, services, and advocacies that adhere to a high standard of professionalism, unity, dedication, and excellence. This is aligned with its vision to ensure transparency and good governance throughout the city.
