As we close this chapter, Outfit 08 stands proud because of the leaders who once carried its name with honor. Today, we don’t just say goodbye we celebrate the memories, the service, and the legacy you leave behind.

To our outgoing officers, your dedication, discipline, and leadership have shaped not only this Organization, but every scout who stood beside you. Most meaningful progress does not begin with instant success. It takes shape through attempts that miss the mark at first, each setback adding something and each misstep revealing a better way forward, until what once seemed like failure becomes part of the path toward getting it right.

Winston Churchill was a leader who encountered many failures throughout his career, yet he ultimately rose to become one of the most influential political figures in history, much like many leaders who endure challenges and setbacks on their journey. Churchill’s quote suggests that success is not defined by the absence of failure but by how one responds when it occurs. It reflects a journey in which setbacks are not the end of the path but part of its shaping, guiding one to persist with resilience and purpose. Through acceptance of failure as part of the process and continued determination, progress slowly unfolds toward the achievement of goals.

Responding with faith and resilience and an eagerness to overcome the obstacles along the journey, one continues forward without allowing hindrances to become reasons to stop. It is acknowledged that failure is inevitable and that life provides opportunity to learn from mistakes rather than viewing them as evidence of one's own shortcomings

9th Graduation Rites of the Senior High School (SHS) of Columban College, Inc. today April 17, 2026, at SMX Convention Center.

The ceremony, led by the scouting organization, begins with a proud entrance of colors, symbolizing the graduates' commitment to service, leadership, and community.

Through awards and recognition, the institution celebrates not only the students' outstanding academic achievements but also their growth in character, discipline, and social responsibility—qualities that will guide them as they step into higher education and future endeavors. The ceremony concludes with an exit of colors, a meaningful tribute to the graduates' readiness to take on new challenges beyond the institution.

Congratulations to all the graduates and awardees—your achievements stand as a testament to the holistic excellence nurtured at Columban College. May this milestone mark the beginning of greater opportunities and continued success in the paths you choose.

The 𝗖𝗖𝗜 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 proudly led the Entrance of Colors during the Moving Up and Recognition Rites of Columban College Inc. last April 08, 2026. Allowing them to showcase their skills, represent the institution with pride, and continue living the ideals of leadership and service. Guided by their training and core values, the scouts exhibited commendable discipline, precision, and confidence, thereby enhancing the significance and solemnity of the ceremony.

On this Solemn Good Friday, we take a moment to pause from the noise of everyday life and reflect on the greatest act of love the world has ever known. Today reminds us of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who gave His life not because we deserved it, but because of His endless mercy and love for us.

“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

In His suffering, we find the true meaning of love. In His sacrifice, we find forgiveness. And in His death, we are given the hope of new life. This day calls us to be still, to pray, and to look into our hearts asking ourselves how we can live with more faith, kindness, and compassion.

May this Friday remind us that no matter how heavy our burdens are, we are never alone. His love is always there. quiet, patient, and unwavering.

Let us carry this message not just today, but every day: to love others, to forgive, and to walk in faith even in the darkest times.

🙌🏻 Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. It is a time to reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice and unconditional love. 🙏🏻

We celebrate Palm Sunday because it symbolises hope, humility, and faith. Just as Jesus entered Jerusalem where people welcomed Him with palm branches as a sign of honor and praise. May we invite Him into our hearts and live with kindness and compassion each day.

Under the guidance of their Outfit Advisor, Sctr. Eris John Clavo, and led by Venturer Sct. Evan Mico V. Macaspac alongside Pathfinder Sct. John Ace Prinsson J. Reeves, the Scouts of JLGC – Outfit 08 successfully undertook a series of merit badge trainings and counseling sessions in pursuit of their advancement trail.

In light of this, Outfit 08 extends its deepest gratitude to all the counselors and instructors who dedicated their time, knowledge, and effort to this endeavor. May they continue to inspire and pass on their wisdom and skills to those who seek it.

CONGRATULATIONS to five scouts who 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘𝒔 & 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 on March 25, 2026, at Columban College–Asinan Campus, under the evaluation of panelists 𝑬𝑺 𝑳𝒖𝒋𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑲𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒓, guidance of 𝑴𝒓. 𝑱𝒐𝒆𝒍 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒑𝒐, 𝑳𝑷𝑻, 𝑾𝑩𝑯 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝑴𝑳, and with the presence of 𝑺𝒄𝒕𝒓. 𝑬𝒓𝒊𝒔 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒗𝒐, 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒇𝒊𝒕 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓 alongside with the 08 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒔.

The 𝑩𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘𝒔, a formal yet celebratory process, marked not only the completion of their journey toward the Explorer rank but also recognized the 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆, 𝒆𝒇𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕, and 𝒅𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 they have invested. With moments of both seriousness and lighthearted exchange, the evaluation highlighted their growth and readiness to take on greater responsibilities.

More than a rank, becoming an Explorer Scout stands as a 𝒔𝒚𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒓 and 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘. As these newly recognized Explorers move forward, they are expected to 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒔𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚.

This year’s Regional Scout Youth Forum (RSYF) showcased another Columbanite not just representing Columban College Asinan Campus but also Olongapo City, James L. Gordon Council. ⚜️

A shining highlight: Sct. Elaijah Portacio of Outfit 08, stepping up as CSR 4, demonstrating true leadership, dedication, and commitment to serve. From meaningful activities to laughter-filled teamwork, every moment reflected the spirit of Scouting.
