Last night’s stated meeting of Teodoro R. Yangco Masonic Lodge No. 351 was truly one for the books.

We were deeply honored by the presence of Most Worshipful Raul E. Canon Jr., whose visit brought inspiration, wisdom, and renewed strength to the brethren. Moments like these remind us of the importance of unity, guidance, and the shared principles that bind us together as Masons.

Seeing the lodge filled with brothers—standing side by side in fellowship, respect, and harmony—was a powerful reminder that Masonry is not just about meetings, but about the brotherhood we continue to build and strengthen.

Thank you to all the brethren who attended and contributed to another meaningful evening. And to our distinguished guest, MW Raul E. Canon Jr., our sincere gratitude for your time and presence.

Indeed, a night of fellowship, learning, and brotherhood.

In the spirit of brotherhood and service to the community,

Teodoro R. Yangco Masonic Lodge No. 351, together with the Municipality of Subic, Zambales, brings Operation Manhood: Libreng Tuli — a simple yet meaningful initiative for the young boys in our community.

Through this program, we continue to live out what we stand for — helping where we can, standing beside our community, and making a difference in even the simplest ways.

To all the brethren, partners, sponsors, and volunteers who gave their time and effort, this is what true brotherhood looks like.

In the spirit of Semana Santa, the brethren of Teodoro R. Yangco Masonic Lodge No. 351 carried out our Lakbay Alalay project—this time, in support of the frontliners.

Today, we extend our appreciation to our police officers, barangay personnel, and volunteers who tirelessly serve and ensure the safety of our communities during this busy season. While many are on the road, they remain on duty—guiding, protecting, and assisting others.

This small gesture is our way of saying thank you for your dedication and sacrifice.

Service, after all, is not just what we do—it’s who we are.

On November 9, 1861, Teodoro Rafael Yangco was born in the quaint town of San Antonio, Zambales. His early life was marked by foundational values that would later shape his remarkable journey, one defined by honour, philanthropy, and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others. Today, his extraordinary legacy is celebrated through Teodoro R. Yangco Masonic Lodge No. 351; Teodoro R. Yangco Demolay Alumni Chapter No. 24 and Teodoro R. Yangco Chapter No. 4 of the Order of DeMolay, which embodies his spirit of service and dedication.

Brother Teodoro R. Yangco's life was a testament to charity and benevolence. He consistently demonstrated exceptional generosity throughout his lifetime, donating substantial amounts of money to a diverse range of charitable, religious, and civic organisations. Beyond monetary contributions, he also gifted valuable parcels of land in prominent locations in Metro Manila and Zambales, reflecting his commitment to community development. Among his most notable contributions was the donation of a sprawling 31,031-square-meter lot situated in a bustling commercial area of Manila, which became the foundation for the YMCA of the Philippines—a hub for community activities and youth development.

In recognition of his profound impact on the community, November 9 was officially declared "Teodoro R. Yangco Day" in the Municipality of San Antonio, Zambales. This day serves as a reminder of his selfless contributions and the high ideals he upheld. We celebrate and honour the legacy of Brother Teodoro Rafael Yangco, whose life and actions continue to inspire countless individuals to make a difference.

As proud members, we all come together in remembrance and celebration of a distinguished Mason whose name we wear with pride, upholding the values of charity, leadership, and community service that he exemplified.

We also extended our hand in service by conducting our outreach program at Teodoro R. Yangco Memorial Elementary School, where we donated school supplies and sensory toys to children with special needs.

BRIGADA ESKWELA PART 02: CHAMPIONING ROAD SAFETY

Every day, children step onto bustling streets - walking, biking, or hopping out of different modes of transportation to learn, grow, and connect. Yet, roads near schools can become danger zones without vigilance, care, and community action. Pursuing school road safety isn’t just about rules; it’s about safeguarding our most precious travelers - our students.

The Philippines averages 35 road crash deaths daily, with children disproportionately affected due to limited visibility and difficulty judging vehicle speeds. Road crashes are the leading cause of death for children aged 5 to 29, with 700 child fatalities reported in 2016 alone.

Due to these statistics, Teodoro R. Yangco Masons and DeMolays came together to take a proactive step in donating slowdown signages to high-risk elementary schools located on the national highways of Castillejos and San Antonio, Zambales:

1. Sta Maria Elementary School
2. Pres. Ramon Magsaysay Elementary School
3. Castillejos Elementary School
4. Villaflor Elementary School
5. San Gregorio Elementary School
6. Teodoro R. Yangco Memorial Elementary School

Together, we can ensure that the journey to school is as safe as the classroom. Let’s build a future where every child arrives and returns home safely.
