The TEAM OF RESEARCHERS, ADVOCATES, VOLUNTEERS, EXTENSIONISTS, SERVICE PROVIDERS AND INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATES (TRAVESIA), Inc. is a non-government organization (NGO) evolved out of an ardent desire to bring about a lasting advocacy that will serve the balanced interests of the people and the environment for the benefit of the present and future generations of Romblon. This NGO was conceived at the
height of a group’s implementation of the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Program spearheaded by the Research, Extension and Production Center of the Romblon State University under the leadership of Dr. Merian C. The team spirit was formed and various beneficial ideals were meld into what is today TRAVESIA. Thus, this NGO is committed to provide services for the benefit of people and environment. TRAVESIA is officially registered with Securities and Exchange Commission on November 15, 2011 after two years of working together as a team spearheading environmental advocacy. The organization is a non-profit, non-government entity that provides various services in the field of Human Resource Development, Leadership, Governance and Management Training, Values Formation; Research, Study and Project Proposals Formulation, Plan Development (CLUP, Business Plan, etc.), Financial and Entrepreneurial Consultancy, and Environmental Stewardship. The organization also provides scholarships to deserving students.
