Today marks the 10th anniversary of TYOโs recognition as one of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations at the 13th TAYO Awards of the National Youth Commission.
On January 21, 2016, TYO reached a historic milestone when it was welcomed into the halls of Malacaรฑang Palace. Out of 362 entries nationwide, TYO was named a finalist under the Education and Technology category for its project, ๐๐ค๐๐ค๐ ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ ๐พ๐๐ง๐ ๐พ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ: ๐๐๐๐ง๐ช๐ข๐ง๐ช๐ข ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ฃ, and was later declared the winner of the same category. With the support of dedicated stakeholders and generous sponsors, TYO transformed vision into actionโrenovating the interiors of the Tobog Day Care Center and providing essential learning materials to create a brighter, more nurturing space where young minds can grow, dream, and thrive.
The organizationโs advisers and founding members proudly attended the awarding ceremony at the Heroes Hall of Malacaรฑang Palace, where TYO received both a grant and a trophy designed by renowned sculptor Toym Imao.
A decade has passed, yet TYO continues to stand strong, driven by the same passion that brought it to this moment. This milestone reminds us that when young people are empowered, they can create lasting change. We remain committed to uplifting the youth and serving our communitiesโtoday, tomorrow, and for many years to come.
