Twenty (20) Numanciahanons youth were added to the list of trained peer educators of RHU Numancia in the recently concluded Peer Educators Training held at Camanci Sur, Numancia. The 20 participants came from Barangay Dongon West headed by their SK Chairperson, Hon. Re Louie Cawaling and their Midwife, Mrs. Yolanda Crispino.

The training was facilitated by Mr. Paul Adrian M. Pelayo, Devriz Demeterio and Raffy T. Relator of AKPPGO together with 4 provincial peer educators namely Vincent R. Solidum, Ramonito Barrios, Chrisse Ann Soliven, John Andrei Luna and From Peer Ed Bulwang Sandy B. Latayan.

Congratulations to RHU Numancia headed by their MHO, Dr. Levens Maravilla and AHD Coordinator Ms. Idy Regalado especially to Barangay Councils and Sangguniang Kabataan of Dongon West, Numancia.

Another batch of peer educators were trained by Aklan Provincial Population and Gender Office in partnership with Rural Health Unit of Numancia in coordination with the Barangay Councils of Bubog and Aliputos. A total of 43 young Numanciahanons were added to the list of the newly trained peer educators of RHU Numancia to help them advocate and promote the Adolescent Health and Development Program.

The event was made possible through the joint efforts of these people:
1. Barangay Councils and SK Chairpersons of barangay Bubog and Aliputos
2. RHU Numancia staff headed by Dr. Levens and Mam Idy Regalado
3. Peer Educators of Madalag (Junny Igharas and Aries Kenneth Commendador); Kalibo (Wilmark Ferrer) and Numancia (Ramonito Barrios)

Also to BHWs, and BNS of Barangay Bulwang for allowing us to stay and spend the night in their barangay health center during the 2 day training.

Congratulations to the 36 newly trained peer educators of Barangay Badio and Camanci Norte, Numancia who completed the 2 day Training on Peer Education organized by Rural Health Unit of Numancia in partnership with Akppgo Popcom Aklan , Sangguniang Kabataan and Barangay Council.

Kudos to the collective efforts of the Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Levens Maravilla and Ms. Idy Regalado , AHD Coordinator and the rest of RHU Numancia Staff, Lezo Peer Educators (Manuel Bustilla/Denise Saybelle Fulgencio) and Mr. Ramonito Barrios.

Likewise, we would like to commend the Barangay Council of Badio and Camanci Norte especially to their Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons who joined and witnessed the 2 day training - Hon. Judy Ann Labindao and Hon. Elben Delgado.

Congratulations to the 25 newly trained peer educators of Barangay Bulwang, Numancia in the recently concluded Peer Educators Training organized by Municipal Health Office of Numancia in partnership with Aklan Provincial Population and Gender Office and sponsored by the Barangay Council of Bulwang and Office of the Sangguniang Kabataan.

Special thanks to the Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Levens Maravilla and Ms. Idy Regalado , Numanci AHD Coordinator and the rest of RHU Staff, Tambayan ni Aewag Peer Educators and Mr. Ramonito Barrios. Also, we would like to acknowledge the efforts of Barangay Council of Bulwang especially to Hon. Jemuel Pasion, SK Chairperson for investing in young people.
