The ANWANG Organization (Advocates Navigating Wellness Across Neighborhoods and Genders) successfully conducted a symposium on HIV & AIDS, SOGIE, and Mental Health Awareness with the theme “Positively Yours this Feb-IBIG: Wellness Fair – Know Your Love Status” at the Numancia Covered Court in Numancia on February 18, 2026.

The event marked a meaningful milestone as the organization pledged its commitment to creating a lasting positive impact in the Municipality of Numancia. With over 100 students from Numancia Integrated School in attendance, the symposium became a strong step toward spreading awareness, promoting inclusivity, and breaking stigma among the youth.✨✊

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our beloved Mayor Rogelio M. Enero II and to our resource speakers — Ma’am Janica Anne Dela Peña (PYDO designate), Sir Erroll Ordines, RN of the Philippine Red Cross Aklan Chapter, and Dr. Jazreel Ann Rentillo-Aranas, HIV/AIDS Coordinator — for generously sharing their expertise and inspiring our young participants. Your knowledge and dedication truly became the heart of this successful event.

This Feb-IBIG, join us in advancing awareness, compassion, and inclusivity through our HIV & AIDS, SOGIE, and Mental Health Awareness Program — an initiative dedicated to sharing accurate information, breaking stigma, and encouraging informed and responsible health choices in our community.

The activity is facilitated by the ANWANG Organization, whose advocacy for wellness and human rights remains at the heart of this event, in collaboration with the Municipality of Numancia and the Numancia Primary Care Facility to strengthen public health education and mental well-being.

As part of the program, we will be giving free condoms, offering free HIV testing, and hosting a Freedom Wall where participants can share messages, reflections, and support in a safe space.
