🦈🥭 DID YOU KNOW, GUIMARASNON? 🥭🦈

THE FIRST DOCUMENTED MEGALODON FOSSILS IN WESTERN VISAYAS WERE DISCOVERED IN GUIMARAS! 😮

Two fossilized teeth of the megalodon, the giant prehistoric shark, are now being showcased at the National Museum of the Philippines–Iloilo.

📍 The fossils were discovered in Jordan, Guimaras, by Angelico Arellano and later deposited at the museum by Arellano and Nereo Lujan.

🦈 Megalodon was one of the largest sharks known to have ever lived and may have reached around 15–18 meters long—roughly the length of two buses!

🌊 These fossils are millions of years old and offer a fascinating glimpse into the ancient waters of the Visayas.

🏛️ They are currently on display at the museum’s Geology and Paleontology Hall as part of:

“MEGALODON: GIANTS OF THE SEA”

📅 In time for Museums and Galleries Month 2026
🕘 Open: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
⏰ Last admission: 4:30 PM
🎟️ FREE ADMISSION

Imagine that… millions of years ago, a giant megalodon may have been swimming in ancient waters connected to our region! 🦈🌊

Guimaras is not only rich in beautiful beaches and mangoes—our island also has stories buried deep in its history. 🥭💚

The old compass has finally led Miguel to the place marked on Andres Galon’s 1926 map. 🧭🌊

An old wooden landing.
A familiar “G” symbol.
And one more clue carved into the wood:

“1926” 👀

Miguel is now standing where Andres Galon once stood 100 years ago.

But where does the narrow mangrove path lead?

The old compass has pointed Miguel toward another forgotten place… 🧭🌊

Following the route marked on Andres Galon’s 1926 map, Miguel discovers another destination:

“OLD MANGROVE LANDING.”

But before leaving Taklong, he finds one more message connected to Boat No. 17:

“FOLLOW THE OLD ROUTE.” 👀🚤

Where will the old route take Miguel next?
And what else did Andres Galon leave behind 100 years ago?

A forgotten wooden box.
An old photograph.
And a name from 1926… 📸📜

Miguel discovers a photograph of **Andres Galon** beside the original Boat No. 17.

But the real surprise comes when he turns the photograph over.

**SEPTEMBER 25, 1926 — FIRST JOURNEY, BOAT NO. 17**

Miguel checks the date on his phone…

**SEPTEMBER 25, 2026.**

Exactly 100 years apart. 👀🚤

Coincidence… or another clue?
