This isn’t a new fact. It’s a buried one. Plastic has often been understood as a problem that only exists in the oceans and harming wildlife. But plastic creates pollution throughout its existence: from the extraction of fossil fuels, the manufacture of plastic, its use, and “disposal.”

🍃🔄 Plastic is not something the Earth absorbs without consequence. To stop plastic pollution, industries need to shift to regenerative materials and reusable systems.
