On that fateful afternoon thousands of years ago, it seemed that evil had finally taken control . . . but it was only temporary.

Today is called Good Friday because Jesus, the one who saves us from our sins, is good. His love for us is good. He paid the ultimate price for our good. And the promise of spending forever with Him in heaven is good.

This day made our eternal reunion with our Creator possible, and that’s the best gift we could ever receive.
