The College of Computing Studies (CCS), together with the Institute of Computer Network Society (ICONS), actively participated in the Seminar and Workshop on Internationalization Documentation and Narrative Development, an enriching learning experience aimed at strengthening institutional initiatives through effective documentation and strategic planning.

The seminar provided participants with a deeper understanding of how academic programs, projects, and institutional initiatives can be aligned with international standards and frameworks. Discussions focused on identifying impactful practices, developing meaningful narratives from existing accomplishments, and presenting these initiatives in a manner that highlights their relevance, sustainability, and contribution to educational innovation. Participants were also introduced to key concepts in evaluating programs, recognizing opportunities for improvement, and transforming ideas into measurable outcomes that create lasting impact within the institution and the community.

A significant portion of the workshop emphasized the importance of documenting initiatives beyond simply reporting activities. Participants learned how to effectively communicate the purpose, process, implementation, and outcomes of projects while demonstrating their value and contribution to institutional development. The session also provided valuable insights into international recognition programs, including the qualifications, standards, and documentation requirements necessary for institutions seeking to showcase innovative practices on a global stage.

Present during the seminar were Dr. Mindalita O. Cruz, Dean of the College of Computing Studies; Mr. Christian C. Torres, MIT, Program Head of CS; John Kennedy Lorenzana, ICONS President; and Mr. John Loyd Madrinian, IT Staff. They were joined by fellow faculty members, deans, staff, and students from various colleges and offices, fostering a collaborative environment for learning, sharing best practices, and exchanging ideas.

Through this seminar and workshop, participants gained valuable knowledge and practical insights that will contribute to the continuous enhancement of academic programs, student-led initiatives, and institutional projects. The experience serves as a step toward strengthening the culture of innovation, strategic development, and internationalization within the institution, empowering participants to create initiatives that are not only impactful at the local level but also relevant in the broader global educational landscape.

𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

Officers of the Institute of Computer Network Society (ICONS) held a meeting to discuss their roles and participation in the upcoming institutional activities of Norzagaray College. The meeting served as a preparatory step to ensure that the organization remains aligned with the college’s initiatives and continues to actively contribute to campus development.

Among the key matters discussed were the implementation of Linis Kolehiyo, the conduct of the Institutional Orientation, the scheduled Flag Raising Ceremony and Kamustahan. Officers outlined their respective responsibilities, proposed plans, and coordinated efforts to ensure the smooth ex*****on of each activity.

The meeting also provided a platform for collaboration and open discussion, allowing officers to raise concerns, share insights, and strengthen teamwork within the organization. Emphasis was placed on active participation, accountability, and the importance of student involvement in institutional programs.

Through this initiative, ICONS reaffirms its commitment to service, leadership, and engagement, as it continues to support and take part in activities that contribute to the growth and unity of the college community.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟰 𝗢𝗙 𝗘𝗡𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

On the fourth day of enrollment for A.Y. 2026–2027, ICONS officers continued to provide assistance to incoming ACT and BECED students at Computer Laboratory A. The organization actively guided students through online registration, subject enlisting, and other enrollment-related concerns to help ensure a smooth and organized process.

With continuous dedication and teamwork, ICONS remained committed to delivering quality service and support to students throughout the enrollment period. Alongside this effort, other student organizations such as the Student Council, SAFE, and HMSoc also fulfilled their assigned enrollment-related responsibilities, contributing to the successful and efficient flow of enrollment activities.

On the third day of enrollment for A.Y. 2026–2027, ICONS officers continued their commitment to serving the student community by assisting incoming BSCS students at Computer Laboratory A. The officers provided guidance on online registration, subject enlisting, and other enrollment-related concerns, helping students navigate the process with ease and confidence.

Through their dedication, teamwork, and student-centered service, ICONS helped create a more efficient and organized enrollment experience. Meanwhile, other student organizations, including the Student Council, SAFE, and HMSoc, also carried out their respective enrollment-related responsibilities, contributing to the successful conduct of the enrollment process.
