In Celebration of the 52nd PAG-ASA Founding Anniversary

Today, the PAG-ASA Youth Association of the Philippines - New Lucena Chapter proudly stands united with young people across the province as we take part in Tanum Limpyo Iloilo 2026.

As we celebrate the 52nd Founding Anniversary of PYAP, we are reminded of our purpose: to be the hope of our community, to serve, to lead, and to take action for the youth and for the environment.

This year, our celebration is not just about looking back at 52 years of service. It is about moving forward. Through Tanum Limpyo Iloilo, we choose to plant seeds of change literally and figuratively. We plant trees to protect our environment. We clean our communities to protect our health. And we plant values in our hearts to protect our future.

We believe that real change starts from zero zero waste, zero excuses, zero apathy. And from that zero, we rise with Zeal, Empowerment, Resilience, and Opportunity.

To our fellow PYAP- AKO - New Lucena Chapter members, LGU partners, MENRO, and the people of New Lucena: this is our commitment. We may be one chapter, but together with all of you, we are a movement.

We are the youth. We are PYAP. We are the hope, and we are starting now.

PYAP New Lucena Chapter Joins Zumba with LGU New Lucena!

Health, happiness, and youth participation all in one dance floor!

The PYAP New Lucena Chapter proudly joined the Zumba activity organized by the LGU of New Lucena and we danced with purpose, energy, and smiles from start to finish.

It was more than just a workout. It was a moment for our Out-of-School Youth to move, to connect, and to feel part of something bigger. For many, it was a break from daily struggles, a chance to laugh with friends, and a reminder that taking care of our bodies and minds matters.

Why we joined:
To be active and healthy - Zumba is a fun way to stay fit while building stamina and confidence.
To build camaraderie - Dancing together strengthens our bond as PYAP members and as a community.
To support LGU initiatives - We believe youth should be visible, active, and engaged in local programs.

Thank you to the Municipal Government of New Lucena for inviting us and for creating safe, inclusive spaces where youth can move, express, and belong. To our fellow PYAP members, you brought the energy and the heart!

52 years of service. One community. One mission: A greener, cleaner New Lucena 🌳💚

This July 4, 2026, the PYAP New Lucena Chapter celebrates the 52nd Founding Anniversary of the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines not with fanfare, but with action. We are launching our Tree Planting and Clean-Up Drive 2026 because we believe that real change starts with small, intentional acts.

Every seed we plant today is a promise to the next generation. Every piece of trash we collect is a step toward a healthier environment for all. This is more than just an activity. It is our commitment as young leaders to protect the land we call home, to restore what has been lost, and to build a sustainable future through collective effort.

The youth of New Lucena are not just the future. We are the present. And we choose to show up, get our hands dirty, and lead by example.

Join us as we turn anniversary into impact. Because when the youth plant trees and clean their streets, they are not just changing the landscape. They are changing the story.

The PYAP New Lucena Chapter proudly participated in the Tree Planting Activity together with ERPAT New Lucena Chapter held at Brgy. Wari-Wari 🌳💚

“Roots of Responsibility: Growing a Greener Future with Our Children”

Today, we rolled up our sleeves and planted more than just trees - we planted hope, responsibility, and a commitment to the future. Together with ERPAT New Lucena Chapter, we joined hands for the environment, proving that when youth and fathers unite for a cause, great things grow.

Every seedling we planted today is a promise to the next generation. A promise of cleaner air, stronger communities, and a greener New Lucena. This activity reminded us that protecting the environment is not just the duty of a few, but the shared responsibility of all - youth, parents, and leaders working as one.

Thank you to ERPAT New Lucena Chapter for the partnership, to LGU New Lucena, MSWDO, and all organizers for making this meaningful activity possible. Special thanks to the people of Brgy. Wari-Wari for welcoming us and supporting this initiative.

PYAP New Lucena Chapter joined the Livelihood Program 💼✨

Today, the members of PYAP New Lucena Chapter actively participated in the Livelihood Program training conducted in our municipality.

This program is more than just a seminar for us it’s an opportunity to learn practical skills, gain knowledge on entrepreneurship, and build confidence to start our own small businesses in the future. From understanding basic business concepts to learning hands-on techniques, every session reminded us that the youth of today are not just dreamers, we are doers and builders of our own success.

We believe that empowering the youth with livelihood skills is one of the best investments for our community. Through programs like this, we are equipped to contribute not only to our own growth, but also to the development of New Lucena.

This is just the beginning. PYAP New Lucena Chapter is ready to apply what we learned and turn knowledge into action. Because when youth are empowered, the whole community progresses!

🗳️ Empowering the Youth, Shaping the Nation! 🇵🇭
The PYAP New Lucena chapter attended the highly anticipated initiative by the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) last May 25, 2026, as it officially made its way to Region VI in Iloilo City, Panay Island!

Centered around the powerful theme, "May Karapatan ang Kabataan sa Kanilang Kinabukasan" The Youth Have a Right to Their Future and the advocacy slogan "Boto mo, boses mo!" Your vote, your voice!, this event marks a vital milestone in fostering civic awareness and voter education among the younger generation.

As active leaders and members of the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines PYAP New Lucena chapter, our participation reflects our commitment to understanding our rights, asserting our voices, and actively taking part in democratic processes. The youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow; we are active participants of today. Every vote counts, and every voice matters in building a more just, humane, and progressive society.

A huge thank you to the Commission on Human Rights for bringing this empowering initiative to Western Visayas, and to everyone who made this engagement possible. Let’s continue to stand up for our rights and pave the way for a brighter future!

The PYAP New Lucena Chapter proudly attended the 1st ever Iloilo Youth Convergence last June 2 a milestone gathering of Ilonggo youth leaders, advocates, and changemakers.

From learning sessions to building new connections, this convergence reminded us that when youth come together, ideas turn into action. We’re bringing home lessons, inspiration, and a stronger commitment to serve New Lucena.

This is just the beginning. Kabataang Ilonggo, padayon sa pag-uswag! ✨
