DDOSP–SID New Bataan Chapter recently held its monthly meeting on March 15, 2026, at the New Bataan Municipality’s Freedom Stage.

One of the key matters discussed was the preparation and selection of participants for the upcoming General Assembly, where scholars from different municipalities of Davao de Oro are expected to come together and take part in a variety of events and activities that strengthen the bond among scholars across the province.

Alongside these discussions, the meeting also served as an opportunity for scholars to complete the signing of their second-semester clearances for the current school year as part of their requirements.

𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄, 𝐃𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐏-𝐒𝐈𝐃 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑.

The DdOSP-SID New Bataan Chapter successfully conducted its 2nd Semester Community Service across three partner schools: Panag Elementary School, Magsaysay Elementary School, and Inopawan Elementary School. United by a common purpose, the scholars dedicated their time and effort to enhancing the learning environments of these institutions through various beautification initiatives.

Scholars were grouped and assigned to different areas where they actively engaged in repainting selected spaces, decorating school grounds, gardening, and thoroughly cleaning classrooms and outdoor facilities. These efforts brought renewed vibrance and order to the campuses, creating more welcoming and inspiring spaces for pupils, teachers, and visitors.

In addition to beautification, the teams ensured that school surroundings were safer and more organized by clearing overgrown plants and maintaining designated areas.
Through collaboration, discipline, and shared responsibility, the DdOSP-SID New Bataan Chapter exemplified the true essence of community service—fostering pride, unity, and a supportive atmosphere that contributes to the holistic growth of young learners.

The DdOSP-SID New Bataan Chapter would also like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the three schools for warmly welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to give back to the community through your institutions. Your trust and cooperation allowed us to serve with purpose and make a meaningful impact, and we look forward to more collaborative efforts in the future. 💚✨

𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 | 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞.

A 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦 organized by the DdOSP-SID New Bataan Chapter encouraging scholars to be more mindful of their spending habits and future goals.

The event aimed to guide students in managing finances and preparing for long-term stability. The invited speaker, 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐎. 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐲, 𝐑𝐏𝐦, 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐀, emphasized the role of financial literacy in everyday life, stating, “𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒕, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒚.”

Following the symposium, a meeting among scholars was conducted to discuss plans and preparations for their upcoming community service activities. The meeting was led by DdOSP New Bataan Chapter President Ivy Grace Hingpit. This marks the organization’s utmost preparation for the success of the soon-to-be-conducted service for the community.
