September 7, 2026

The SSVP-SCC Conference gathered today for a special meeting as we prepare for the upcoming Feast Day of St. Vincent de Paul.

It was a good time to come together, catch up, share ideas, and talk about the plans for our coming fiesta. There is still much to prepare, but with everyone working together and sharing their time and talents, we look forward to a meaningful and joyful celebration.

As we prepare to celebrate our patron, may we continue to follow the example of St. Vincent de Paul, serving with a loving heart, reaching out to those in need, and sharing God’s love through simple acts of kindness.

Thank you to all our members for your continued support and dedication. May God bless our preparations and make our celebration a beautiful expression of faith, love, and service.

St. Vincent de Paul, pray for us!

Saint Charbel, pray for us.

Saint Charbel Makhlouf was born in 1828 in a remote Lebanese mountain village. He became a Maronite monk and spent his last 23 years as a hermit, in silence, prayer, and fasting. He suffered a stroke during the Divine Liturgy and died on Christmas Eve 1898.

Villagers reported a glowing light over his grave for 45 nights. His body was exhumed and found incorrupt, exuding a blood-like fluid, examined by doctors for decades with no natural explanation found.

Over 29,000 miracles have been reported at his tomb in Annaya, among Christians and Muslims alike, including cures of cancer, paralysis, and blindness. He was canonized in 1977.
Today, the Maronite Church celebrates his feast.
Saint Charbel, pray for us.
