𝗦𝗔𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗖𝗝𝗘 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗞 2026'𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲.

The School of Arts and Sciences Supreme Student Council (SAS SSC) collaborates with the Supreme Student Council of the School of Criminal Justice Education (SCJE SSC) in spearheading the 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 as a part of the 𝗦𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗞 2026: Student's Welcome night, last 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 2.

The student councils facilitated the competition with the help of their respective organizations, namely, the Communication Arts Guild (CAG) and Students of Economics Circle (SEC) in represent of SAS student-leaders, while the SCJE SSC incorporated the Society of Criminology Officers (SOCO).

Hand in hand, they created a solid team of designated crew navigating the participants through every station of the race. Where they didn't just lead the racers, they made sure that the challenges remain fun, exciting, and enjoyable.

The participants faced obstacles that challenged their wit, physical abilities, and team coordination. Having concluded the race, hailed the winners:

🏆CHAMPION - School of Teacher Education
🥇1st Place - School of Criminal Justice Education
🥈2nd Place - School of Arts and Sciences

Overall, the Amazing Race was a success through the team work and camaraderie, of the facilitators and the participants.

𝗦𝗔𝗦 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗕𝗶𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) joined the BiPSU community in celebrating the opening of the 2026 BiPSU Founding Anniversary through a series of kick-off activities held on September 2 at the BiPSU Campus.

Students from different schools gathered to witness this year's Mr. & Ms. BiPSU Sports Wear Competition, Interschool Dance Sports Competition – 3rd Kind Category, and the highly anticipated Bench Yell Competition. With this year’s theme, “Wearing Sustainable Impact,” the "kick-off" gave participants the opportunity to showcase how creativity, fashion, and sustainability can come together on one stage.

The energy continued as students proudly represented their respective schools. For SAS, the celebration was also an opportunity to come together and take part in the excitement beyond the classroom, because SAS did not just participate—they excelled. Placing 3rth in the Amazing Race Game, and taking home 2nd place during the Booth Competition—peer headed by the SAS Council, Communication Arts Guild, and the Student Economic Circle— they embody not just what the school represents, but what the school upholds.

From every movement on the dance floor to every yell heard inside the gymnasium, the activities became a celebration of the passion, creativity, and spirit that bring every BiPSUnista together. As BiPSU celebrates another year of its journey, the SAS community proudly takes part in this shared moment—because beyond the competitions, there is something that brings us all together: the pride of being part of one University.

Fuel up and get ready for 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 2026!🏁

SAS SSC, in collaboration with SCJE SSC, brings you a race of 𝘄𝗶𝘁, 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗻! Coming your way on September 2, as part of the 𝗦𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗞: 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.

𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
• The Race starts from 1-3PM, Starting point: BiPSU Oval.
• The Race is comprised of 6 stations, composed of different games that require cognitive, physical skills, and team work.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻:
• 10 teams (10 schools) will compete to finish the Race.
• 1 team represents 1 School, which is comprised Exactly 10 members.
• Team members should not be officers from any student-organization/council within that school.

NOTE:
Upon the race, participants are expected wear comfortable clothes to be able to move freely.

Teams are required to wear SHIRTS aligned to the color representation of their school, please be guided with the format:

SAS: Green
SCJE: MAROON
SOE: RED
SBM: YELLOW
STED: BLUE
STHM: ORANGE
NURSING: PINK
STCS: BLACK
LHS: PURPLE

The rest of the teams who failed to win will be receiving certificates of appreciation.

𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗮-𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝘀𝗮 "𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁" 2026!

Matagumpay na iginanap ng School of Arts and Sciences (SAS), ang Pakighimamat 2026: Annual General Convocation sa BiPSU Gymnasium, ngayong araw, Agosto 18, 2026. Ito ay bunga ng pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa ng faculty, kasama ang mga lider-estudyante na kumakatawan sa tatlong organisasiyon; School of Arts and Sciences-Supreme Student Council (SAS-SSC), Student Economic Circle (SEC), at Communication Arts Guild (CAG) ng School of Arts and Sciences (SAS).

Nagsagawa ng panunumpa ang bagong hanay ng mga kawani ng organisasyon ng SEC at CAG upang opisyal na ideklara at gampanan ang responsibilidad ng bawat posisyon.

Dagdag pa rito, idinaos din ang oryentasiyon sa ilalim ng temang "One SAS: Anchored in Values, Guided by Policies, Prepared for the Future;" ito ay isang mahalagang hakbang upang mas patibayin ang ugnayan sa pagitan ng mga mag-aaral.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗦𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗦𝗖 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗-𝗦𝗦𝗖; 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 '𝟐𝟔

School of Arts and Sciences-Supreme Student Council (SAS-SSC) officers, in collaboration with the School of Teacher Education - Supreme Student Council (STED-SSC) officers participated in this year's International Youth Day with a theme: Youth Fest 2026: Tinig at Galaw ng Kabataan spearheaded by Commission on Human Rights (CHR) in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Technical Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) held at the university gymnasium on August 12.

The said schools participated in the Youth Booth Exhibition: Arts, Crafts, and Local Products in which they showcased their creativity, ideas, camaraderie and showered the booth with distinctive outputs and crafts of the students from their respective departments.

Moreover, in the morning session, Ms Jonna Marie M. Ranes, Chief, Promotion & Advocacy, Division, CHR RO VIII, shared the overview and opening of "Rights on Canvas: Express Human Rights through Art" On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest in which representatives from different schools of BiPSU participated in the said contest. Atty. Sheena Estrella Bentor, Chief, Promotion & Advocacy Division, CHR RO VIII discussed session one: Basic Human Rights Concepts and Principles, Mr. Joseph Roel C. Obrino, Information Officer II, CHR RO II tackled session two: Commision on Human Rights Mandate and Functions,

Meanwhile, in the afternoon session, Dir. Rebecca M. Cormanes, OIC Provincial Director, DTI - Provincial Office of Biliran discussed session three: Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Programs and Services and lastly, session four: Technical Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) Programs and Services was discussed by Dir. Sheila Mae D. Taon, Acting Provincial Director, TESDA - Provincial Office Of Biliran.

Moreover, presentation of Youth Booth Exhibition: Arts, Crafts, and Local Products was held with each representative explaining the concept and creative outputs of their respective booths.

The event concluded with awarding of certificates and recognition was given to the key officials, guests and participants

On this special day, we celebrate one of our dedicated student-leader, the SAS-SSC Economics Representative, Ms. Irich Villafranca. With pride, we acknowledge her leadership, dedication and the heart she pour into our organization and being an example to all of us.

Today, we celebrate one of our dedicated student-leaders, the SAS SSC Treasurer, Ms. Marissa Daño. We take this moment to acknowledge her existence and contribution to the entirety of the organization, and her impact to the lives she touched. Her efforts will never go unseen, as her heart for serving remains shining all the way through.
