Our First “Bantay Bisyo” Activity!🚭

We had our first activity for our project “Bantay Bisyo: A Surveillance Program for Smoke Prevention.”

It’s called BKD Anonymous Report Box! 📦

We talked about it with students from Grades 7 to 10 and learned how we can help keep our school smoke-free!

Barkada Kontra Droga in Action❗️

The BKD Organization of Tala National High School conducted a room-to-room discussion from Grades 7 to 10 about drug and smoke prevention. 🚭

We talked about gateway drugs like alcohol and ni****ne, their effects on health, and how we can choose healthier activities instead such as exercising 🏃‍♀️, practicing mindfulness 🧘‍♂️, and exploring our hobbies 🎨.

We also introduced our main project, Bantay Bisyo: A Surveillance Program for Smoke Prevention, which aims to keep our school safe, healthy, and smoke-free through respectful monitoring and peer support. 🏫

The activity was fun and meaningful, and many students actively participated. Together, we can make Tala NHS a place that promotes wellness, discipline, and positive change. 🌱
